  • I only worry about sugar if I know it's coming from crappy food choices. Those are usually accompanied by higher calories, too. If I'm over because I'm eating 3 or 4 servings of fruit, then i don't pay it any attention. It's more about the whole picture of what I'm putting in my body.

  • You are so right. It's hard to stay "up" when you aren't losing and others are. I have to remember that I'm not doing this just to get rid of pounds. I'm doing it to be the strongest, healthiest "me" I can be. We all have a different journey, but luckily we travel down some of the same roads on our way there.

  • The "before" picture was me when I started last year at 144lbs. The after is me at 126. I gained 2lbs back over the holidays then decided I really want to lose a bit more. I'm going for 115 with a body fat % of 25 or less. I'm at 127 now, body fat 29%. PS - I turned 50 in September. If I can do it, you sure can.

  • I felt tired and achy today. Working out was a real effort. I know I didn't give it as much as I usually do. All I could do is give 100% of what I had. I felt better knowing I had done what I could. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back in full force.
