You look amazing! Congrats on your loss, and even more on what you've gained. Knowledge, courage, strength, health, focus and pride. You are an inspiration.

Mirrors and pictures - I don't even recognize that woman. Feeling uncomfortable in my own body. The rolls, dimples and jiggles that just don't belong. Being ashamed to be seen in public, feeling like I have to apologize to the cashier for any "junk" in my cart ), feeling judged every time I drive through a fast food place.…

I'm sure that is a factor. I've been doing keto for three weeks. The first week and a half, nothing happened. I started drinking water, like I should have been all along :-), and the weight is coming off. I've lost 6 pounds total so far. Keep going, and drink your water!

Congratulations! You're getting smaller, getting stronger and feeling better. I'd say that's a win!

Great results! It's impressive how much you changed your body in such a short time. Results like that would definitely be motivation enough to keep going. I can't wait to see the pics after you do Ripped.

I weigh almost everything. I've used my digital scale so much the batteries are going out. I've been totally stressed this week hoping that it wouldn't quit on me completely before I could get them replaced. I removed them this morning and will get new ones after work today. It's amazing how "off" you can be when you are…

^This. It's the same reason I keep my diary private. I don't have the time, nor desire, to monitor my pals food choices. I'm old enough to decide for myself what I want to consume. I certainly don't need someone else telling me what I should or shouldn't do. I guess an added benefit of a private diary is that I'm not…

I've had good luck with an omelet and (2 eggs, 1 oz ham and 1/2 slice of cheese) and 1 cup of blueberries. I try to limit carbs from breads and sweets in the early day so I have more to work with at dinner. 318 Cal 13g fat 25g carbs (almost all from the fruit, so I don't feel as bad, lol) 20g Protein 535g Sodium (I need to…

It's exactly that kind of attitude that I am talking about. Did it even occur to you that not everyone is on the same level? Maybe some people are doing the best they can by just being here and trying to ask a question. Maybe she wasn't being lazy or asking for handholding. She might not have a clue how to go about doing…

I think the threat was not so much sarcastic as it was smug and rude. Just because KittiLea, and the others who thought her idea was so amusing and appropriate, may not face the same struggles as others on here doesn't give them the right to behave that way. Our society has degenerated in a lot of ways, but threats of…

Welcome back. This is my 3rd time here. I had one account, but deleted it. Then came back and continued losing. I lost about 30 lbs, then quit logging and quit exercising. I gained it all back, and then some. So, here I go again! My profile pic is my "before & after" from before. Now I want my after back. Feel free to add…

OMG! I checked out this link last night and laughed so hard I couldn't breathe! Thanks for helping me burn a few extra calories while sitting on my couch.

I've had the same problem! I love them, but it's just too embarrassing to eat them. My husband works with a bunch of crazy guys, so now he takes them in his lunch so he can "keep up" with their antics.

Hi! I'm 51 and trying to lose 30lbs - 20 of which I lost and regained!! Feel free to add me.

It's just a minor setback, as long as you keep it that way. Just shrug it off and do better the rest of today and tomorrow. Carbs are my nemesis. I love them, but I know I have to watch it if I'm going to lose. If I eat something I shouldn't (like chocolate cake, lol) I count it all, and make extra effort not to let it…

^^^^^ This! Rum & Diet is my regular beverage of choice. No carbs and relatively low in calories.

George Strait - Give it all we've got tonight. Hubby was working it out on his guitar when I left for work. Great song!

Received "You may have to drive. It relaxes me too much, lol". "It" being what we may be doing before we leave the house to go to our friends party. A little early morning flirting with my man makes my day start off with a smile.

When life hands you broken yolks, throw in some veggies and make an omelet.

Agreed! The OP asked a question and has been barraged with sarcasm, rudeness and ugliness. I hope she isn't new here, or she will assume that everyone on this site is a harsh, judgmental bully. I've been a member a long time and even I have a hard time believing some of the horrid responses. Why not take a minute and find…

I'm starting over again, too. I had lost about 25 lbs and was within 10 lbs of my goal. Had a little operation that kept me sidelined for 6 weeks. I never imagined I wouldn't get back to exercise, it was such a part of my life. I was wrong. Six weeks turned in to 8 months and every pound I lost is back. I've been married…

Hi! I'm almost 5'3" and weigh 145. I had gotten down to 125, had a goal of 115. I got lazy and gained it all back. Now I'm trying again. I would love some help from other women with the same goals!

In the beginning, the band is using algorithms to determine your calorie burn, along with the info it is getting from your body. As you wear it longer, it will learn more about how you are actually functioning and will be even more accurate in your daily calorie burn. The first week or so are not the most accurate, at…

I struggled with finding the "right" amount of calories, too. I got the BodyMedia Fit armband, and now I can see what I'm actually burning every day. It takes the guesswork out of it. I know at a glance (I got the Link armband that syncs to my phone) whether or not I can have the dinner I was planning, or if it's going to…

I've had my BMF for about 8 months. I love it, especially now that I can sync it with MFP. I wore it every day and I was losing weight consistently. I took it off and stopped tracking here, and I gained it back. Lesson learned! I wear mine at least 23 hours a day, sometimes more. I've not had any problem with a "dent' in…

I'd love to be your friend, and any one else who wants to add me. This is my second time around, too. I lost the weight, got lazy and was too embarrassed to keep logging. I'm back to paying attention to what I eat, but I will never have an ideal diet. I hate veggies, almost all of them. I will always eat fast food and…

some great ideas here! bumping for later

I've just come back after several months away. I've managed to gain all the weight back that I had lost. I'm fighting the feeling of being a failure and rededicating myself to being the "me" I want to be. It's hard and it takes what seems like forever, but I know I can do it again.

My boobs are bigger now. I had my breast augmentation 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. Everyone has to follow the path that leads them to be happy. It isn't about what anyone else thinks you should do or shouldn't do. What feels right to you is the only question that matters.

Amazing change! You look beautiful and happier. Our men love us as we are, but they also like to show us off a bit. You chose a very nice dress, flattering but still modest. I bet he was so proud to have you on his arm.
