Coffee, two slices of 35 calorie wheat bread,1/4 cup of eggbeaters and sugar free grape jelly if the hubby is home to cook breakfast. If he is traveling for work then I eat a Zone chocolate mint protein bar on the way to the gym. It's like I'm having a candy bar for breakfast, love it!

Great job!!! You look wonderful, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

I think you look great. I'm 5'10" too and I currently weigh 153 and I would not look good at your weight. Every one is different, so be happy with who you are. I had a brief bout with an ED in high school (eating about 100 calories a day, like a moron) and got down to120 lbs and had all of the clinical signs of anorexia…

The watch reads out the data from the chest strap if you get that type of HRM. The ones with the chest strap are more accurate but are also a little more pricy. I have the women's Polar FT4 and I love it. I got it on Amazon for about $65. It gives an accurate calorie and heart rate read out and I would recommend it.

I have the same problem. I have found that I am usually satisfied with a low calorie snack (watermelon, plain popcorn, a lollipop, etc) and a really good diet drink, I am hooked on this expensive diet root beer right now, and it feels like I'm having a treat.

Take it as you would like. The point of the article was to point out how ****ty the foods are in the1st place, if it's 10% of their diet it's obviously not a big deal, but for lots of people those 'beige meals' are a frequent occurrence for their kids. I would not eat that as a 'treat' myself, much less for my daughter,…

I understand he's married to her but NEVER, that's bullcrap, I agree with the previous poster, this is him being a jerk and it's obviously bothering you and worth fighting for a change.

I can't get past the part where you said that he has never called you beautiful or complimented you....how is that possible???? And the fact that when you bring it up it is such an issue that you end up fighting and he has still never said it, this is crazy. If he knows it bothers you that much (and it should, it would…

OMG, that kids meal with the dinosaur shaped nuggets, what the heck!!! Who would feed that to their children??? That was gross. Nothing else was really too surprising, but it does sorta piss me off that Quizno's has to jack up a tuna sandwhich like that, I mean, I like a little mayo with my tuna, not a little tuna with my…

I'm 5'10" and I currently weigh 153 and would like to get back down to 145, my pre-baby weight. I have lost 15 lbs since starting MFP in mid April but seem to be kind of stuck at 153 these last few weeks. I guess these last 7 or so lbs really are the hardest to lose. I think I'm pretty average boned, and my lowest weight…

Yes, I think the key is to start transforming yourself into a healthier person while also continuing to try to conceive. It seems like you are coming from a place where you are trying to either focus on yourself by loosing weight or focus on a baby, but the great thing is that you can actually do both. I also had a…

I have only done Zumba one time and I am WAY too clumsy and rhythm-less to do that but it did not seem like I could have burned more than 300 or so calories. Perhaps the class I went to was easier than others, or maybe I was too clumsy with the moves to burn as much as someone who is familiar with the routine I do spin…

This is my 7th year teaching, I have never had a lunch break or planning period, we simply don't get them. I eat with my kids and if someone has a tantrum or needs to leave the cafeteria (I teach Autistic children) then I don't get to eat during that time. The key is to pre pack something healthy that is ready to go and…

Exactly, I know that most pre made muffins are not healthy either, and just like you, I went to college. What I am saying is the people I am referring do not have an education and they are perpetually poor; their parents are poor, their grand parents are poor, and they don't know that Sams Club muffins are unhealthy. And…

I didn't say anyone was buying the pre packaged waffles, I said they are getting that for breakfast at school. SCHOOL!!! Public School, where our tax dollars go, and I can assure you that in the school district in the next county over, which is one of the highest performing districts in the state, they are not feeding…

The whole it's your choice to eat the muffin argument really ticks me off. I have been a teacher in the 5th poorest county in the USA for the past 6 years, where, of course, there's a Sams Club. If I had a dollar for every time parents buy these types of foods for their kids, thinking that they are healthy I would be rich.…

Yep, I weigh every day too. I like to see how my diet affects my weight, and it also keeps me on track. I can't imagine only weighing once a week, I can have a 3-5 pound weight gain in one day if I eat sushi or something else that is salty for dinner the night before, but I have never lost the much in one day so the once a…

I usually burn about 700 calories during the weekdays at the gym based on my HRM doing spin class and weight lifting. I eat back only 100 of those calories and I have lost 15 pounds since mid April and I am 4 pounds from my goal weight, so that it what works for me!

I'm really sensitive to birth control and went through at least 10 different ones, each with various side effects and finally found Loestrin 24. I have been on it for 2 years and there is absolutely no difference that I feel when I'm on this vs when I'm on nothing, it's been great for me. It's pretty expensive bc there is…

I am the exact same way. I don't have much more to lose (I'm 5'10 and 153 now, trying to get back to pre baby weight of 148) and if I do eat back my exercise cals I do not lose anything. I also use a HRM, a Polar FT4 and I do Spin class and weights 5 days a week, usually burning anywhere from 550-900 calories a session. I…

You would be better off eating a protein bar or pretty much any other bar besides a nurtagrain bar, they have absolutely nothing healthy in them and even the color of the 'fruit' inside them is colored using dye, gross! (I'm especially biased to these because they used to feed them to the students in my school for snack…

I did spin throughout my entire pregnancy up until the day my daughter was born. It's great cardio and strength for abs and legs and it's low impact. I gained 35 lbs during the pregnancy, which is exactly on target so I can't imagine what I would have gained if I had not been working out. I also gained about 80% of the…

It's the best workout! My husband and I both started a few years ago before our wedding. He's a 6 foot 4, 260lb guy and he even loved it and we both lost weight. I'm still addicted to it and I go 4-6 times a week. It's great cardio that's easy on the knees, I even did it 5 days a week throughout my entire pregnancy, I was…
