  • Hallelujah! Someone that knows how I feel. I have 4 all in the area of my chest between my breasts. I can't wear anything low-cut either :( I wanted to get it removed but everyone tells me it gets bigger so I figure I'd just let it go but I wish they would make a cure for it!
  • Aww, that's not very nice. But guys say things that sometimes come out the wrong way. Did you tell him how his comment made you feel? :( I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through that - don't let what he said deplete your motivation though. Keep at it, loose weight to become healthy for you and not anyone else. He…
  • I'm 5'3" and I currently weigh 125lbs. I originally wanted to go back to my lowest weight of 114lbs, but that was when I was able to work out twice a day, everyday, & really maintain a strict 1200 calorie a day diet. Now with graduate school and work, I just don't have that kind of time. So, I think I will be happy if I…
  • You are supposed to be following your net calories because that is how much your body is really taking in after subtracting your exercise calories. However, I don't follow that. I try to work out everyday and I eat semi-healthy so some days I eat more and others not so much and it has worked out for me fine. I think…
  • I do believe that artificial sweeteners can cause you to crave sugar more versus natural sugars (ie: fruit), however, I think everything is okay in moderation. I drink splenda with my coffee every morning and other than that nothing but water. I do have an occasional diet soda when I have a craving but I just don't seem to…
  • I eat Oat Revolution - it has brown sugar & flax seeds in it. OMG - best thing ever, plus they are in single serving packets so at 160 calories, I can't resist! ;)
  • I try to incorporate a serving or two of fruit with my breakfast in the morning. I usually buy not too sweet cereal so I eat my fruit with that (bananas, blueberries, etc). As far as veggies, I eat a lot of baby carrots or cucumbers with my snacks or mini salads (when at school). It's not staring at me in the fridge, but I…
  • I have my B.S. degree in Criminal Justice and I'm currently obtaining a Master of Social Work degree in Clinical Social Work. So far, I'm enjoying it! Only 1.5 years to go, haha.
  • I'm a Marine Corps girlfriend just trying to gain muscle, drop a little weight, and keep up with my boyfriend, lol. Thank you all for your service and commitment to this country. God bless!
  • I'm 5'3", I was 155lbs and I weigh 128 now. I'm trying to get back down to 115lbs but that was when I could go to the gym and work out 2 hours a day, lol. I will settle for 120 though, so about 8lbs to go! :) Everyone's body is different though so just find something that is a happy weight for you :) Good luck!
  • I'm 5'3" and weigh anywhere between 125-130lbs. I'd like to go back down to my original weight of 115lbs! Looking to add anyone that is looking for support and/or a good friend :) Good luck to ya'll
  • I'm on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen. I've also tried the Patch and although I miss it, I've stayed on the pill the longest. It's worked out well for me, no weight gain and no side effects :)
  • I moved here to North Carolina from California. I was wondering if any of ya'll live in Wilmington? If so, maybe we can be diet buddies! Hope ya'll have a great evening - message me or feel free to add me if you'd like some support. Take care!
  • Congratulations on your recent success :) That is awesome news & glad you came back! Feel free to add me if you'd like! Take care & best wishes, Ally
  • Marines/Military. It's been that way my entire life, except I'm not a tag chaser. I have dated civilians. Many of my friends end up turning into boyfriends so its not like its really a planned thing to be honest! No, but, I like nice guys, the kind that will: open the door for you, pay for meals, not depend on you for…
  • That is awesome. You look great!! Keep it up!
  • Unfortunately, its not just an myth, it is true. I think its usually because the less weight you have, the harder it is to lose rather than maintain, if that makes sense? Just like its easier for a heavier person to loose weight quicker than someone of average weight by doing the same type of exercise regimen/diet. I am…
  • 1. Do you eat back your calories? No, as much as I would like to, I never end up hungry enough to eat them all back & I'd rather not shove a whole bunch of food & force myself to eat, just to eat them back. 2. Are you losing weight consistently? Yes. I loose something almost every week. I did a plateau for awhile but I was…
  • You can still find some things at fast food places like salads or some sandwiches that are low in calorie and won't kill your sodium intake if you watch it the rest of the day! But, I know its hard :( If you'd like some support - feel free to add me girl! <3
  • I love it, lol. :) I'm sure you will lose weight though!! How much do you have to go?
  • I take Ortho-Tri-Cyclen & I've been on it for almost 7 years now & it never made me gain weight. The only thing I heard that makes you gain is depo for some reason, lol. But, I'm glad you went to the doctor to try to figure it out. Maybe you just hit some type of plateau or are just really stressed? Stress makes you gain…
  • 115 :) I haven't seen that weight since my first year of college, haha. That sounds really bad considering that was like 6 years ago? However, I only have about 9 more pounds to go so I know I can get there!! Good luck to ya'll :)
  • Fiber One Chocolate & Peanut Butter brownie Laughing Cow cheese wedges Babybel mini cheeses Skinny Cow (ANYTHING!), its all so yummy! Fage 0% Greek Yogurt w/ honey 100 calorie packs Smuckers Uncrustables Goldfish packs Fiber One 80 Calorie Cereal Yeah, I pretty much love food, haha. Now I'm hungry :)
  • First off, quitting does not equal failure. So, for some people to just bring negative thoughts to the table, well - I think its wrong. Secondly, maybe you need to take a break and re-evaluate your choices. Are you more interested in living a lifestyle that is healthy, or a lifestyle that is all about what your number is…
  • i used to drink Crystal Light a lot. I like the Orange Sunrise and Cherry Limeade. I know it has aspartame in it though so I stopped drinking it. I drink SmartWater now like 24/7 and I love it. However, my grandpa always told me - you can enjoy anything in moderation :) So, if you like CL and you feel its helping you loose…
  • I've gained weight from too much sodium intake or TOM but that's about it. Honestly, if your scale isn't a digital one, it might be time to get a new scale. I had an old one that wasn't digital and those ones are real touchy and finicky. It wouldn't work well at all. If you do have a digital scale, it could either be the…
  • I totally agree! :)
  • 1) What food has been the hardest for you to give up or eat less of? - Cheeseburgers, curly fries, & anything fried or overly sweet 2) What is your favorite "diet food" - in general or a brand? - Skinny Cow, Laughing Cow, Amy's Organic 3) What has been your biggest challenge when it comes to cooking healthy? - Constant…
  • By no way are you being excessive. The military pushes people to PT (HARD!) many days and nobody calls them obsessive! There is a thin line between being healthy and being obsessive. Obsessive would be like, a million work outs, not eating food, and looking at the scale every 5 seconds or something, haha. Way to go on 3…
  • I agree with you, girl. I don't normally eat my exercise calories back either and before I wanted to really "loose" weight, I maintained the same weight for many years. I think everyone's body is different and what works for some people, won't necessarily work for others.
