  • I'm with you! Oatmeal never satisfies me either, lol. You gave some great options! :)
  • I'm in :) Let's go May!
  • I dated a guy once in my early 20's who was 10 years older than me. Age was never an issue for us but he was a *kitten* (I mean who breaks up with someone via text and is in their 30's!), so we split. I'm now married to a great guy whose 4 years older than me. I guess when you're 18, you look at age difference more but…
  • I'm almost 5'3" and I weigh 115lbs. To be honest, I haven't weighed this weight since I was 18 and wanted to join the Marines. Now that I'm back at the weight, I thought I would be happy. But, I would actually like to gain muscle instead and tone up and weigh around 120-125. So, I'm working on trying to do that instead of…
  • You are welcome! Trust me, if i like it anyone will - certain clean eating recipes well have sucked for me (like those cottage cheese protein pancakes? Yuck!) but I was really surprised. Mine tasted like a blueberry muffin with the dried ones!
  • http://www.wheresmycellphone.com Apparently that link works if you lost your phone. Granted, I have never tried it out cause I've never lost my phone but nice to know there is help (if it works) haha.
  • BUMP! Blueberry muffins are my favorite! Thanks for sharing :)
  • Bump! Beans, lean chicken breast, greek yogurt, nuts - all good sources of protein. Try to keep an eye on the cottage cheese though, most have a high sodium content so if you watch for that, keep that it mind. I use muscle milk vanilla creme for my protein shakes. Actually, I wasn't into protein shakes a lot until my…
  • Wow! It's almost like a totally different person- YOU LOOK AMAZING!! Congratulations to you, girl! :) Yaaaaaay
  • Baked asparagus with a little EVOO and sea salt & coarse ground pepper (LOVE!), Stonyfield Oikos organic greek yogurt, Silk unsweetened almond milk, Muscle Milk Vanilla Creme Protein Powder (okay not really a "food" but it tastes SO good in my post workout smoothies, finally one that tastes awesome!), skinny popcorn (tried…
  • I reached 125 about a few months ago. It took me a long time to get their from 130. Now I'm at 119-120. I'm 5'2" so I'm not looking to loose very much more weight and just hope to maintain. I switched up my workouts a lot and incorporated more fruits and veggies during a plateau and tried to stay under my limit for carbs…
  • 6 inch turkey on wheat with light mayo, lettuce, banana peppers, cucumbers, and bell peppers or 6 inch egg white, bacon, & cheese flatbread for days I want some breakfast :) Yumm-o!
  • I wore an US size 8 last year but I lost weight this year and now I can wear a US size 5-6. I've never been that small in my life :) I remember when a US size 12 was my standard!
  • Oh wow! That is so remarkable. God bless you and way to go with your weight loss!! You show them ;) WOOHOO!!!!
  • I will enjoy it. It's one day and well you can't beat Thanksgiving foods... yum yum!
  • I think this is great and would love to help motivate people and be a support (feel free to add me if you actively log and keep an open diary!) but I feel like Christmas is only 9 weeks away and 15 pounds is a lot to loose by then. Plus with Thanksgiving and Christmas, I would like to enjoy a little of the holiday eating…
  • I think you have a great attitude! I think what a lot of people fail to remember when they are on their MFP journey is, no day is going to be perfect. Everyone messes up and that's okay, its a part of life! However, you made a good point in saying if you do mess up on a meal, you would not let it ruin your day and I think…
  • I weigh in every Friday and I log whatever it is, gain or loss. If it is a gain, I look back on the week and try to see what adjustments I can make and do better the following week :)
  • Well, I will say most of us don't know how you are living because we were only asked to help evaluate your food diary. That being said, I've read all the threads and you have said you know how to eat healthy. One question is, do you have a prepaid food plan at your school or do you have to buy your food their out of your…
  • I eat what a want, just smaller portions and I exercise for stress relief and weight loss. To me, special diets restrict you on certain things and I think unless you are really committed to restricting yourself for the rest of your life (ie: no carbs), you'll just be on a yo-yo diet and that's not good nor healthy.
  • You could be real but if you're sending some guy you don't know info about money, sounds pretty fake to me. In other news - you put your inspirations include the military. I sure hope if you do want to join, you'll learn to spell by then. Country or not, its not cute to spell "git" improperly.
  • I have 2 digital scales in the house. One was bought at Walmart the other one was bought off Amazon. The one from Walmart was relatively inexpensive, I'd say under $20. It is digital and works great :)
  • Its okay, on a long car ride, I bought a box of munchkins & ended up eating way too many! Honestly though, don't beat yourself up. I read a lot in health magazines those who deprive themselves or ban everything junk food wise, in the end, they are the ones that end up bingeing or quitting. Take it one day at a time. Don't…
  • I hate McDonalds and the only time I eat anything from there is if I want their oatmeal or a soft-serve cone, lol. If I want a cheeseburger, I'd rather go somewhere that uses quality meat and fresh ingredients... to me, than it'd be worth it!
  • I don't wear makeup during workouts. I don't really see the point. I've done it a few times but then I thought "this is not a fashion show, I'm here to sweat and get a good workout in..." Plus, I kind of feel its a waste if its just going to look all gross during a workout, haha.
  • You can use the recipe calculator on MFP? That's what I normally do. Or just google "recipe calculators" and enter your ingredients accordingly :) Hope that helps!
  • I think everyone binges at one point or another. I used to have multiple binge days and then I'd beat myself up for it and start up again. I realize its all about moderation. Sometimes I also have learned binge days are because you are eating not enough calories maybe for a certain amount of time & its your bodies way of…
  • Let's see... Height: Almost 5'3" :) Chest Size: 34 Waist: 26-27" depending on the pants Current Weight: 126 Goal Weight: 120 That's all the measurements I know, lol. But best of luck to ya'll :)
  • My first love was a cute football player named Jason. He was 16 and I was 14. I thought we'd be together forever! Now, I realize all the men I dated before my husband, it was all infatuation or puppy love. I realize now what true love is thanks to my husband :)
