I agree! I never looked that good when I weighed 160lbs! So there's only more good things coming your way :) Congratulations.

I'm 5ft 3 but had a higher starting weight. I was 160lbs and am now 139lbs which has taken 17 weeks. I've slowed right down now and only want to loose another 7lbs so I am inclined to say that loosing 20lbs in 10 weeks from your starting weight might be slightly ambitious.

A LOT of Galaxy chocolate! It tasted so good :D

Yep, infact a lot of my male friends call each other Shag as a term of endearment! But other than my odd friends, Brits do tend to use it to mean sex.

I have never called a cake a gateaux! I think that one's a streotype and a lot more French than anything else :D

I have never called a cake a gateux! I think that ine's a stereotype lol

I think I'm happy in my profile picture! Is that what you're looking for?...

Read the packet, it ususally says. For example, Old El Paso Fajita kits includes the salsa, wraps and bbq powder when it's scanned in, but not the chicken :)

This makes me feel good, thank you!

Very helpful thank you. I generally don't go to the gym (I do classes instead) so perhaps I should swap classes for gym for a bit just to see what happens. I used to do Ballet as well (although I was a lot younger!) but it could be another avenue to follow :)

I think you could be right about it possibly never happening. If I look at all the women in my family, they have the same problem. I definitely have curvy hips and bum, I was just hoping the thighs could change! However, I can certainly just see what happens by generally exercising more and keep my fingers crossed!

I'm 5ft 4in and lost 20lb sticking to 1200 recommended by MFP and exercising 3 times a week. It's taken me just over 3 months to go from 160lb to 140lb. My Goal is 130lb. Hope that's useful :)

I started my weight loss because of a picture too, it was mid Christmas last year that I realised I needed to change my eating habits before they got completely out of control. What an amazing transformation you have made already and what an inspiration to everyone! Congratulations on all hard work and will power!

We're both at the same weight and I'm also trying to loose that extra 10ish pounds which is definitely proving trickier than the first lot! But you're a great inspiration to keep going, well done!

I agree with you. I tried hard to stick to 1200 that MFP suggested and lost loads of weight in the 3 weeks that I managed then decided it was just too difficult to maintain as I was constantly hungry. Since then I've been eating around 1500/1600 calories and still been loosing weight steadily. However, I've just had 2…

I don't think you can be exactly right when it comes to working this out. The machines at my gym don't match up to what my pedometer or MFP says. I agree with what htmlgirl says about taking the lowest calculation so that you still stay on track with your weight loss. It wouldn't be very beneficial to take the highest if…

The photos on your profile are incredible. Massive congratulations to you!

I went to my friend's house over Christmas last year and all of the pictures taken from that evening made me want to loose weight! I didn't recognise myself in a lot of them and it made me realise that I'd put on a heck of a lot of weight without realising it. So since then I found MFP and lost over a stone so far :D
-
I'm 5ft 4 and started MFP in January. I started at 160lb and would like to be 133lb. I've lost 17lb so far so it's going well! I have found Easter pretty hard but I really don't want to get fat again so I'm trying to claw back some self restraint in this post Easter phase!

This was supposed to be a reply to a comment about people who stand too close to you in classes. I pressed the wrong button!

Yes! This is so annoying. They start off in a good place, nowhere near you, but don't seem to have any spatial awareness once the class starts! This can be quite dangerous in Body Combat classes when they start kicking!
