^ This. I avoided certain theaters if they had normal seats because my thighs and knees would kill me throughout the entire movie. I was mortified when I was asked to get out of a roller coaster because the harness wouldn't close. Another time, I sat and broke a plastic lawn chair while having lunch at a restaurant with…

I'm following something called "The Rotation Diet" and have had great success. I rotate my calorie intake for a couple days at a time. It rotates from 600 to 1200 and then back to "normal". Not sure if the 5:2 follows the same concept, but from what I've read here in MFP forums, it sounds like it.

I get really excited to see people post their before and after. I'm always amazed! Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

^^^^ This. Also, some members post their expectations of what they expect to get out of MFP and MFP friends. Maybe you should list what YOU consider to be a good MFP friend: 1) Don't be like "way to go", "congrats" every time I hit five more days. 2) When I stop logging, notice it 3) Care and reach out to me the way I do…

Congrats to you! What a difference 60 lbs make!

If it was swimming before it died, I probably won't eat it. Unless it's TGIF's battered shrimp or Chicken of the Sea Tuna in mayo.

I second that.

Thanks for the post. I did the bare minimum today. I walked 30 minutes instead of my ideal goal which is 45 min. At first, I wasn't going to go, and then I arrived at the gym later and had only 30 minutes. This is the thought that ran through my head earlier today.... If I don't put in the effort, I won't get the results.…

Congratulations on a very well job done!

First and foremost, congratulations on achieving a 30 lb. weight loss. I'm sure you worked hard on it. Secondly, good choice to hike instead of binge. Lastly, I never like to hear that a marriage is over, but every couple is unique and if in the long run, you are happy, then the end of your marriage is perhaps the…

I couldn't agree more. I have 160 lbs. total to lose and I "celebrate" every 10 pounds or so. I treat myself to something I want as a reward. So far I've lost 30+ and I did my hair, got a pedi and mani, and bought myself swimming shorts.

There are plenty of photos on a web page called weightloss photos dot net.

What an amazing journey. It's good to stop and notice how far you've come and continue right along. I think it helps motivate and keep you on track. Well done and congrats!

HI! I just turned 40 and I wish I only had only 15 lbs. to lose. I have recently lost ~30 lbs. , but I have 130+ to go. That number seems discouraging at times, but I am focusing on 15 lbs. at a time to keep it motivational. So far I'm not just losing weight, I've made better food choices and increased my exercise. These…

LLMBAO..... Literally Laughing My Big *kitten* Off!!! Thank you for this! I needed it.

Congratulations! Your hard work paid off. You look better and happier!

I agree. OP, I would strongly suggest you see a doctor and get blood work done (to check for anemia). In my case, I was found to be very anemic and was put on a large dose of prescription iron. It takes a while to build up your iron levels (months), so if this is your issue too, you are better off addressing it now rather…

It's as if I had written it to myself.
