  • Moving Comfort Maia II is what I wear; I buy them at RoadRunnerSports.com when they're on sale and they're always having sales. I also buy my running shoes from the same place. I was a 44DDD when I started; I'm now a 36G and am wearing the same sports bra, just moved to different rows of hooks. Well worth the investment!
  • No matter how bad I eat, I still record it otherwise why bother doing it at all???
  • You look great!! Congrats and thanks for the morning motivation! I just began year 2 of my journey on Jan 12. Kudos to you and all your dedication.
  • My new favorites are Lucky Brand skinny or Calvin Klein Ultra Skinny (I am "straight") and even boot cuts and straight legs are too big in my legs. I'm grateful skinny jeans are still in style!
  • 1) I do not order french fries. Ever. 2) I only eat half of the bun if I get a burger - or no bun at all. McDonald's - depending on what I'm eating the remainder of the day, I order a 4 or 6 piece McNugget OR I will get a quarter pounder with cheese ordered with one slice of cheese, no mustard, no pickle (because I don't…
  • You look great - congrats!!!
  • I soooo started doing this at the end of last year. I was down 54 lbs and held it from Sept - two weeks before Christmas & thought "wow, I have done so well, I won't watch so much over the holidays". End result - gained 9 lbs, updated my weight on MFP to reflect the gain and feel like a loser everytime I see my ticker. I…
  • Id' invest in aFitbit and it will automatically adjust your steps for cals burned when you sync with MFP. It's well worth the $99 investment. You would set your activity level at sedentary and not log anything for exercise.
  • I'm the opposite at Target, too. I'm wearing a size 8 in calvin klein, Lucky but in Target's Merona that I wanted for everyday jeans - I was lucky to fit into a 12. I always use a tape measure to measure across the front of the jean laying flat, that's the only way I know they'll fit. Different measurement for the rise as…
  • I'm not a guy either, but husband likes a white tube top or white very stretchy tight tank (what they used to refer to as "wife beaters") with lacy boy shorts OR this all black, long sleeve, all lace with lace down the front dress-type lingerie I got from the Adam & Eve catalog. Or, a button down shirt with a push up bra.…
  • I love zumba. Depending on whether it's a new routine we're just learning or one we've been doing, I average between 156-212 for a 30 minute class. As others mentioned, it depends on the instructor, too. I happen to have a great one for this class. I was also taking an hour long class with a different instructor and her…
  • I wear an armband or sometimes I'll carry a wristlet that's just big enough for my phone, a key, ID and $5. I have an Ipod shuffle that I clip onto my shirt so I don't have to worry about a wire coming from my phone.
  • Milky way dark chocolate mint works, too, and I can manage to eat just one instead of entire row of thin mints. Sometimes.
  • Well... at 104 I had 36DDs,, when I was 206 I had 44DDDs. I got to 154 (gained backa little over the holidays so now at 162), but I went from e 44DDD's to a 36G! I much prefer these, even if they somehow got bigger, so glad for the much smaller band size! I can't even imagine a 34A. Too bad we can't all be a nice B or C...…
  • Wow, I haven't thought about this before but it made me realize how fortunate I am to have a husband who from day one has referred to me as "Beautiful One", tells me I'm sexy and hot despite what I've weighed. Of course in my eyes it is not true, but it helps to hear it. Despite hubby's issues & things we have gone…
  • Good for you for making a healthy choice! I'm with the other poster - I'd be sick & throwing up before i'd get the munchies. Smoked ALOT in my late teens up to 20. Tried it again five years ago when hubby & I were with friends that do it daily; he hadn't done it for 27 years. We agreed to do it together with him going…
  • Chilli's has an awesome black bean burger! I get it plain - just lettuce and eat half the whole wheat bun. I could eat that everyday. I get broccoli instead of fries. Longhorne - the flat iron steak is really good; I order it medium instead of medium-well like I would order a rib-eye. Just pick where you want and look at…
  • I've never experienced the fishy burp thing. They are quite large and swallowing them is the only thing that bothers me. I tend to buy whatever is on sale at the time I need them.
  • I've had my pretty pink FT4 for a year wearing it daily for six months straight followed by 4-5 a days a week thereafter. The only time I had a problem was when I had lost weight and the strap wasn't tight enough or the strap needed washed vs just rinsed. Oh, or when my it wasn't situated right under my bra; the band would…
  • I researched and researched last spring and tried on a ton of the ones I picked from doing all the research. Ended up with Brooks Glycerin 10 which are THE most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they are a dream to run in. I also bought a pair of Nike Pegasus +28 so that I had two pair (& they were on sale for half the…
  • There are older posts that answer your questions just click on search at the top of the community board and type in fitbit, fitbit zip, hrm, etc or a string of words. I have owned the fitbit one for two weeks and love it, but don't really use it for sleep. It is not for exercise use ie if you run, do cardio, etc you should…
  • Can't wait to order this next month when I can! I'll be looking forward to updates on everyone's results!
  • beautiful - congrats on all your hard work!
  • I bought a $780 elliptical machine two years ago and have maybe 30 hrs on it. I hate it; it's boring. I bought it to replace a treadmill and have regretted it from the first week. Last year I decided to start running outside and absolutely love it. This year we bought a weight bench and weights and I'm enjoying that! Going…
  • I use it in my whirly pop popcorn maker that I got for Christmas, but I don't know anything about it.
  • A friend just told me he had bacon wrapped figs and dates, but I've never tried them. I saw a recipe for bacon brittle. I'm going to try it, but haven't yet. I saw someone just posted on mfp about cooking kale in bacon grease, but not sure how that would go for a party.
  • Fantastic job!! Yay for you!!
  • Everything I make at home, I have a sheet of paper there with me and I track the calories I'm using for each item. When I'm done and before I serve any of it, I weigh out servings so that they are the same amount. I then divide the total calories in my recipe by how many servings. This can be a huge eye-opener, especially…
  • I invested in an EatSmart digital scale and I have the old fashioned type as well (the one I started out with). I use both every morning. The digital always weighs me 1-4.8 lbs heavier than the other on any given day, even sitting the in same place, but it is more consistent. When I go to the doctor's, I'm usually…
