I'm 5'3" and my goal weight is 53.5kg. Or 52kg if I can get back there. I have heavy bones so at 52kg I'm pretty trim. It's just pretty hard this time around.

That hasn't happened to me, but I've had days where I don't want to look at my body (especially those days post-binge). Those days just serve as motivation to spur me on to stop bingeing and try to exercise more.

I LOVE popcorn. I get the 100cal packs (& eat 2 at a time :S ) But when I'm at the movies I always have to get the movie popcorn. It's so buttery and good.

I've used the Optifast, Optislim & the Celebrity Slim. Most of them taste horrible IMHO, they're kind of expensive, and they don't really fill me up. I'd get hungry within the next hour. Hence it wasn't easy for me to stick to them. Of those 3, the Celebrity Slim shakes tasted the best. They have a larger range of flavours…

Same as other posters, when i looked horrible in my fat pants. Since then I've gotten really thin, then put the weight back on. I'd never thought I'd become a yoyo dieter.

I think it is an addiction to an extent... For instance some days (which turn into weeks) I just feel like stuffing my face with anything & everything, even if I'm not craving anything, to the point where I feel very sick & almost to the point of vomiting. & there are days where I'm constantly thinking of food. It may not…

Not in a relationship but I live at home and my parents always force me to eat (a lot of take-out). And I've been catching up with friends a lot recently so that means a lot of bad foods... I just try and minimise my portion sizes (but still have a bit, coz bad food is always tempting), and promise myself that I'll be good…

I don't eat right before bed, but every time after dinner I want something sweet, and then one sweet turns into another, and another, etc. Recently I've tried eating fruit if I feel like a little something extra, but I've only been consistent this past week...

I agree that walking / jogging a lot works. Well, works minimally but after a while you'll get there. Anywho that's what happened in my case (though I've gone way off the bandwagon lately). I really hate how it's so hard to lose inner thigh fat!

Hi! I'm 21 and I want to lose ~8kg. Finding it very hard though, especially when I'm constantly catching up / dining out with friends.
-
I wish I enjoyed exercising. I find myself constantly looking at the clock to make sure I get my 60 minutes in.

I think the "stubborn belly fat" is a reference to how difficult it is to lose those last 10 pounds. So no, it is not a myth, because it seems impossible to lose that last bit of belly fat (in my case at least).

If I have a huge craving, if I go for a lighter option instead, the craving doesn't go away and I end up eating heaps of the wrong things. So for me, I would just give in to the craving to avoid the massive binge. Just saying that's what works for me.

I get really hungry a short time after eating cereal I usually don't eat until I'm hungry. Getting really hungry soon after eating means that your metabolism has kicked in to break down the food you ate. Try drinking lots of water or eating a small portion of something low GI, like some yoghurt

SInce forever I thought I was a pear. But I'm more like a skittle. That profile is so true. I hate my thunderthighs :S

haha "space efficient" love it!

My IBW is 52-58kg. I'm already within this weight range, but I have a lot of extra flab that needs trimming off.

I'm 5'3" and I'm looking to lose ~10kg. Just started exercise yesterday,, I don't remember it being this hard! Here's to sticking to a diet & exercise plan for 2 months (until my holiday) :P

Welcome to the site! Some diet pills cause people to become tolerant. Diet pills aren't a longterm solution anyway, not to mention their side effects. I'm not saying they're bad to take, because initially they do help to kickstart a new lifestyle. To change the way you look and feel predominantly comes from having a good…

I have the same problem. Once I'm somewhat happy with my progress, I'll "cheat", and that'll make me feel guilty and think I've stuffed up the whole day, so why not go ahead and stuff up the whole day. One bad day turns into a week of bad days, and then the cycle renews.

Has this been happening long term? Maybe you could try probiotics, like Inner Health Plus, it helps against the bad bacteria in the GIT from releasing gas which may be providing the discomfort.

Egg yolks contain vitamins and minerals, so eating whole eggs in moderation is healthy. And besides, the yolk is the yummy part!

I'm 5'3", currently at 124, looking to go down to 115. I feel like I've been hovering around 120-125 for a long time, it's so hard for me to get past it.

It depends per individual. When taking the pill, some people gain weight, and others lose weight. If you feel that you don't need to be taking it, stop taking it. Just don't expect to lose weight from coming off of it, cause you may or may not.

My weight always goes up the week before I get my period, but that's because I tend to binge around that time every month.

Apparently it is normal to have a BP around the lower threshold (especially in younger people). I wouldn't be too worried about it, unless your're finding yourself getting dizzy and lightheaded when walking around and doing your daily routine.
-
Don't let it set you back, every day is a new day. Perhaps allow yourself a cheat day once a week, makes you less likely to binge

I do tricep extensions, 3 sets of 20 reps on 2kg dumbbells. 2kg is challenging for me, but then again I am weak
