i also carry a muesli bar with me all the time

i leave an up&go in my bag for whenever i might need it. i'm a student- guess it would work for anyone though. leaves me satisfied for a few hours

i actually felt like level 2 was harder than level 3! that's why i just went up to level 3 after 20 days it's your choice whether you want to try level 3, or stick to level 2 until you feel comfortable

i'm in perth :-)

i watched it a while ago.. initially it made me feel horrible about the way animal products are "mass manufactured" and the way they are treated. was also an eye opener on what is inside our food still can't afford to lead an organic lifestyle though
-
hi, i'm in the exact same boat!
-
when i study i don't get cravings, moreso i feel ravenous to eat anything and everything in sight. it's not due to study, it's due to boredom (for me at least). drinking tea, coffee, energy drinks keeps me (not that they're good though), but it's better than a massive binge

i'm 5'3" and i wanna be 115-120 lb. it's moreso the way i look rather than the number on the scale for me. i've got about 10 lb to drop

i'm 5'3" and if i lose 5lb i'll be at my initial GW (~55kg) here's trying!
-
i'm 21, i want to lose 20 pounds
-
saving this for later

I mostly grab my gut, coz that's the most noticeable part that's shrinking Sometimes I stand in front of the mirror and grab loose bits tighter to see how I'll look if I lost a bit of flab

exactly the same! i sleep on my left side too i just thought i was a weirdo with my bellybutton slightly on the right

I think your goals are perfectly reasonable! I also think that some people are too quick to jump on the "that much weight loss is unhealthy!" bandwagon

Soy milk is so tasty, but IMO 2% milk is better for you, because it supplies you with calcium. Which is important to prevent osteoporosis especially for women. Unless you get your calcium from other sources of dairy, I'd recommend the 2%

Saturated fats actually are bad for you, your body has to work harder to break them down. And they do cause CVD/CHD if ingested excessively. Just because trans fats are -worse- for the diet, it doesn't mean that sat fats aren't bad. edit: but I did enjoy reading your post and find it very informative :)

No offense but I don't think that you're in "reality" believing that obesity is not caused by gluttony or sloth. I'm not saying that you in particular gained weight because of overeating or laziness (because gaining weight can be attributed to many different things), but the reality is that the majority of obese people got…

At least you're not a ruler... which I am.. My figure is so straight, I don't have a waist. And when I gain weight it goes everywhere. One of my girlfriends is an apple, and she has killer legs. And she flaunts it. I'm so jealous of how good she looks in short shorts and skinny jeans.

If I have a cheat day I'll just binge on anything in sight.. So if I feel like a treat I'll eat it in smaller portions

8 minute buns.. you can find it on youtube. It's a dated clip, but you can really feel it working and quickly too.

Not advice for tonight, but for the past month or so I've been taking a probiotic a day - and I haven't had any problems with bloating or gas since. TMI but I usually get bad IBS when eating out.

As annoying as it is, I wish I was currently in that stage!

Maybe you have heavy bones? I told someone I was 55kg (when I was really 62kg :S ) and she was shocked. Apparently she thought I was ~45kg. Pretty sure I have heavy bones because when I weigh similar to my friends (all similar body size & shape), I'm quite thinner.

yay congrats!

It's good that you plan on only using it for 3 months. It does become addicting over the long term, and you become tolerant to it (which may cause patients to want to up their dose, which is a cycle of tolerance and addiction). As per any weight loss regime, this is most effective when combined with healthy diet (ie. 2…

Welcome! I hope you'll find this site very helpful, I know I do :)

It's definitely effective, moreso than being a couch potato. Let's say on average you burn 300cals per session, 5 times a week. That's just under a half pound loss per week.
-
I've been waiting for this post! Awesome But exercise cals never really mattered for me because my burn isn't that huge and my intake really depends on what we have at home.
-
Quite the opposite for me. I'm not usually hungry at breakfast but I force myself to eat a small bowl of cereal with milk. Lunch & dinner is much tastier so I tend to eat a lot more then. Which isn't a good thing.

The other night I was craving chocolate really bad and was hoping to eat some that we got earlier in the week. I found out my bro ate the whole packet and I got so mad! So instead I made homemade chocolate brownies. And had a huge binge on them. That's how desperate I get when it comes to my binges. I think brushing teeth…
