Maybe add in the challenge of trying a new exercise? Swimming, Zumba, basketball, etc.- something new that you may not have tried before. Most people are scared to try something new and may never find something that they truly enjoy because they are afraid of the unknown.

I had awful shin splints from about week 3 until week 6 of C25K. I had to ice after every run. Once I hit the longer runs in week 7 (no more intervals) my shin splints completely went away. Stick with it. You'll be so glad you did.

I was doing 1500 a day and had plateaued for months- I upped to 1650 a day and eat back about half of my exercise calories and have started losing again. It works for some people, but not all. Play around with it until you find what works for you and BE PATIENT. Nothing works overnight.

I'll add you- I'd like to start lifting some time soon so it would be great to have a friend who already does!

I'm in week 2 and I'm surprised at how easy it is! I've heard that the transition from week 2 to week 3 is difficult but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I get up at 5:30 to work out so it's nice and cool, otherwise I would surely collapse. Good luck!

Resistance bands, weight set, and YOUTUBE! So much cheaper.

I LOVE my beer but like you, I felt like it was ruining my progress. I recently started alternating a beer/cocktail with a tonic water with a couple splashes of bitters and some Rose's lime juice (more calories) or a couple slices of limes (less calories). It tastes and looks like a real cocktail (bitters is 50% ABV but…

Smoothies! I have spinach and kale in my smoothies, made with a NutriBullet, every morning and you can't taste the greens at all. Or try adding more fun stuff to your salads like nuts, seeds, hard boiled eggs, fruit, etc.

I'm absolutely terrified that I will work super hard to reach my goal weight and then be less attractive than I am now.

Hey, you made it this far! Keep telling yourself that all the pain you went through in level 1 will be for naught if you quit now!

Just finished day 1- I was a sweaty mess when I finished but I felt so accomplished! Unfortunately having to parallel park my car shortly after doing the exercises proved really difficult- my arms wouldn't cooperate! I'm excited to stick with this though. Have to remember to take measurements tonight!

Maybe try ground chicken breast instead? I find that the different texture makes it easier.

I have a couple of recent NSV's: - Had to buy new breeches as the old ones were just about falling off! - Had a really good lesson yesterday - legs quiet, core tight, hands still - my trainer didn't know what to do with me!

I love making moussaka with a couple of revisions: - Use greek yogurt mixed with egg and cheese for the topping instead of the traditional bechamel - Use ground turkey instead of lamb/beef, or cut the lamb/beef in half and add diced mushrooms - Omit potatoes I made some a while back that ended up being 350 calories per…

Awesome! I'm starting it on Monday- I'm sure I'll be back here to complain about how terrible it was! I can't wait!

Look into chia seeds. I find they are very filling for me and can be added to a lot of different meals.

I find that the secrets to eating healthy on a budget are planning, prepping and eating in season. I make weekly meal plans so that I know exactly what I need from the grocery store and can check for what is on sale. Prepping a big batch of dry beans for the week helps and they freeze well once cooked too! Things like…

This is great! So many people say that they don't have time to be healthy but you're proof that it just takes a little extra foresight and planning.
