Hi, I'm 5'2'' (I still believe I'm 5'2 3/4'', but I think my license says 5'1'' hahah). But yeah. Add me if you like. Edit: I'm not really looking to lose pounds, but I can be support! Plus I don't want to gain pounds!

I will say that I did gain weight when I went vegan, though...and I don't just eat 'convenience' foods and french fries, haha.

I went vegan for health reasons. I was able to stop taking a medication, and I felt amazing. The only problem is that I started having gastrointestinal problems that could be related--I'm still being checked out for it. Once it get the signal, though, I'll be back to it (they're not really sure if I have some kind of…

I drink this, if not more. 64 ounces really isn't that much. I'd aim for more like a gallon

I was actually very sick at the time and had to take time off from college. I gained the weight from medication. I did end up working 30 hours a week and going part-time, though. I usually just went to the gym after work.

I am really tired right now, but I've lost 85 pounds. I more or less tell the story in my profile, and there is one 'before' face picture in my pictures. Sorry I'm lazy, haha. I'm 25 now--I started losing the weight around 22-23.

Oh, I have such a good one from the other night. Well, it's a series of them...I had to keep practicing. I'll be back for sure.
-
This made me laugh a lot. Not in a condescending way...I just liked it

Economic Left/Right: -7.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.28 The anthropologist in me got excited at some of those questions, hahaha. Oh, and I'm from Maine.

...Does Maine count?

You look great! You're 40? Wow. I would've never guessed that

A lot of people on MFP are candidates for Orthorexia diagnosis. No judgment on anyone--I'm one of them, too. The difference, though, is when it starts to seriously affect your health...as in, you won't eat anything at all because you don't deem anything "acceptable". It's as serious as any eating disorder.

It's funny when people assume that Olympians don't ever eat fast food or drink soda or beer. The sponsors aren't necessarily representative of anything anyway. They just have a lot of money.

People have always gotten tattoos. I think placement just changes with cultural shifts. A lot more women are getting 'sleeves,' though, and that seems like a fairly new phenomenon. It's an interesting juxtaposition of 'feminine' with 'masculine'. That was way too technical sounding, but I stand by it. Also, side tattoos. I…

This, though....this. No. I mean--to answer the question: "Yes". But no.

If you never, ever have sex then...sure. Negligible gain, I'm sure, but sure.

When I wear jeans, I wear skinny jeans. I look stupid wearing anything else. Don't ask...I can't even explain.

I went from about 120 to 190 in a matter of months. I developed pre-diabetes, couldn't get out of bed, walk up stairs, etc. (I gained weight due to medication, so the weight and medication combination obviously did those things). I smoked then, and a group of *kitten* 20-somethings yelled at me for smoking while pregnant.…

Dirt...nothing like a good geophage in the house

My God, I think my husband knows every time I gain or lose an ounce hahaha
-
Um...that's the top haha

Also, be wary of colored dry shampoo. It can stain clothes, skin, etc. I have Bumble and Bumble, and I hate it. Try baby powder...seriously! I have dark hair, and it blends right in after awhile!
-
I have thin hair from years of (properly used) medication use/my mom has alopecia, and I'm pretty sure I'm in line for it--although it is super curly. I feel your pain. And THAT'S why I take good care in doing my makeup :)
-
I don't really have a regimen, but since I've lost a lot of the muscle tone in my arms, they just look fat. So, even if I may never get the fat % down in my arms (I've never had 'thin' arms), I can at least give the illusion that they're slimmer by adding muscle. I do push ups and dips a lot, but I've started reintegrating…

I can't believe how many people here have hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's disease...wow. I mean it makes sense since hypo can cause weight gain, but still.

Point taken.

I know this is off topic, but why do you keep a fully stocked bar if you don't drink? To the OP, you can't go your whole life not indulging from time to time. That's why this should be a lifestyle change and not a diet. If you want to change your lifestyle so you don't ever enjoy something "bad," then that's cool. But…

There's no shame in liking the Bee Gees. They were good when they first started out. I'm actually a guy

Okay, good, because I think eleven million would be a gross overestimation hahaha. @TheOtherPersonWhoCommented: Before hah
