I don't own a hrm, but I think you have to wear it in order for it to measure your heart rate/ calories burned. You can still do an estimate on here, or maybe you can wear it during practice one day to see how many calories you burn/ hour (so you will know for game days)

I love avocados! They will get you your calorie minimum! Don't be too intimidated by the fats, it's the good kind. Also, nuts and lean proteins.

Well, if he is a friend, I would tell him your concern for his health. I would want my friends to speak up if they thought I was being unhealthy. If you are just acquaintances/coworkers, I probably wouldn't say anything too much.

From what I understand, you only drink juice of fruits and vegetables for a week/weeks. Someone I know has lost weight doing this, but when she went off the diet, she gained it all right back. It's not a healthy way to lose weight anyways, in my opinion.

My husband wants the naughty food all the time! He took vacation time last week, and it has been horrible(as far as my diet is concerned) I went over my calorie goals like three or four times. I worked out a lot to burn off those extra calories! I normally do alright when we go out to eat or with our meals at home. Always…

If I'm feeling snacky, I drink a glass of water. If I'm actually still hungry, I'll have a salad. I had a huge salad for like 50 calories the other day (no dressing though) and I was FULL afterwards. I'll also have a glass of skim milk or a glass of v8 for pretty filling "snack drinks"

We just got back from the zoo. It was awesome! Children's Mercy had booths all over to help educate kids and adults about children's safety/prevention/care etc. We all had a blast!

He talked about trying low carb, but all his favorite dishes include pasta or potatoes! I will have him look up the ketogenic diet, and see if he is interested in that! Thanks for your help!

This sounds like something he might not turn his nose up to! I wanted to make the turkey chili, but it's been too warm! I have been grilling a lot and I made chicken stir fry with no oil and he ate MOST of those veggies! Thanks to everyone with all the great ideas! Keep em comin!

My cousin swears she lost ten pounds on a bee pollen pill. I think it has to do with only drinking water while using it. I have been doing fine without any pills! Good old fashioned diet and exercise!

I don't know about tv shows, but I watched Halloween while on the treadmill, and let me tell you- I ran faster than I ever had before I think! Scary is the way to go!

Yes! The first week I started jogging I was super emotional! I kept saying "I thought running was supposed to make you feel happy!" It has gotten better since then. No, you aren't alone!

I try not to do a whole cheat day. It makes it harder for me the next few days when I do that. I do a cheat meal and one cheat snack. I still log everything so I know how crazy I went with it. It really is easier to stick to your "diet" when you make the rules work for you

When I went to get a bridesmaid dress in the fall, I was in a size 9 jeans and I bought a size 12 dress. It looked good on and their sizes are always screwy! I love corset dresses! I quit it cold turkey in Jan. After a week or so, I didn't/ don't really miss it at all. Any time I think about it, I look at the sugars! Plus I would rather eat calories instead of drink them! Lol

Tuna Salad kit. I don't usually even add the mayo Low fat pretzels/ crackers I like v8 which comes in cans that don't need to be refrigerated, but it's only like 50cal per serving.
