  • I'm almost at the end of my third week and I've been kind of frustrated with the scale (have only lost 1.4 lbs so far)...I wonder if this could be the reason? Hmmm. Although saying that I think I would feel guilty not following the program. Almost like I wasn't doing enough exercise in order for my body to lose weight. I…
  • :frown: I just turned 29 less than a month ago. I've spent the 'most exciting years' of my life being obese. I keep thinking, "What have I done??" Well, the only consolation is that people are living much longer now so maybe I can make my 30's as exciting as my 20's were supposed to be! Lol.
  • I'm going to Cardiff in a little over two months!...I don't think that counts though :ohwell:
  • Normally I'll re-watch Doctor Who a few days later after it aired...not this time. I can't bring myself to because I know I'll simply start crying again.
  • Am I the only Who fan that has a thing for Rory Williams Pond? I'm still heartbroken but thank God I have Netflix so I can go back to series 5 as if NOTHING happened. As a side note, while trying to find a photo I typed 'Arthur Darvill' into google images and the suggestion 'Arthur Darvill shirtless' came up. Wow, thanks,…
  • That's exactly what I was thinking. I would have loved to have seen his face when Amy appeared. It would have put my mind (and heart) and ease. I wish Moffat would have included that :frown: I'm still not over this. It's going to take days, weeks, perhaps longer. And I'm not trying to be melodramatic, I just think…
  • You mean like...this clip? :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSFoVTmVJlI
  • I agree :-( I know as a Whovian that the Doctor regenerating and companions leaving is just part of the deal. I've managed to live with it since series 2. But I have been dreading this Saturdays episodes since December when it was announced they would be leaving. Yes, they have had a long run as the companions. Yes, it's…
  • I like that :) I think I may use that from now on when I working out and feel like giving up. Tried Zumba a couple times. I bought the DVD's and did it my house. I felt like I was doing it wrong the entire time. Now a friend has them :-/ It's probably a lot more fun in a group. I say keep doing it, though. No one knows…
  • I have no suggestions because I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 29, single, never been married, no kids. Strangely it isn't my mom that's worried about it. It's my grandfather. He was brought up very old school, very traditional. I'm a female so I should be married, in the kitchen, cooking, taking care of my however many…
  • I lost weight on WW years ago when they first started using the points system. But I couldn't on the new PP program. Those who worked there weren't much help either :( I would weigh in one week and gain half a pound and be told, "Oh you're just retaining water, it'll show up next week." I'd weigh in the following week and…
  • Inner-esting instead of interesting. It makes me want to punch that person in the face!
  • I agree! It's a roof. Not a dog! It doesn't bark. Also, another one that I can't stand... Ex-pecially. Ughhh.
  • Same here. Before getting a HRM everything I entered in was double what I was really burning. It was a wake up call when I finally did get the HRM and saw that I wasn't burning as much as I thought I was. But now it just makes me work even harder.
  • I agree with you both. ...Except with the lack of emotional impact AngryDiet, I found myself tearing up but that has a lot to do with the fact that I'm finding it hard parting with the Ponds. Especially Rory ♥ I found it bearable when Rose left, hard, yet bearable. Martha left but that was her choice, and Donna was hard to…

  • Yay, first page! Me too!!
  • Haha! Nice :) Well done on the 30 lbs too!
  • I was just wondering the same thing! You look amazing!
  • Ok, I thought of two more secret motivations: I want to hike the Inca trail to Machu Picchu (It's on the bucket list) And the tattoo that I have wanted for YEARS. But I can only get it when I reach my goal weight :)
  • I think my 'secret' motivation is that I want people to think of me as an athlete. I want to be known for being in the gym and getting it done. I'm with you on this. I'm definitely tired of being the fat friend. And I doubt it's a secret to my friends. I just figure everyone is aware of it, especially when I'm the only fat…
  • Feel free to add me as well. It's always good to have support buddies! :)
  • I hope so too because I LOVE pizza :) And no it wasn't too thick. At least I don't think so. In fact in a few areas there were holes. And I even cooked it longer than the recipe called for because it wasn't browned. And speaking of trouble shooting, I have a question. I had the choice of either fat free cheese or low fat…
  • I've already seen someone ask this but no reply as of yet...Anyway I made this tonight and I was really disappointed :( It just tasted like soggy egg. And strangely, I didn't even use the whole egg. Any suggestions? I don't want to give up just yet, unless thats what it's supposed to taste like... blech :(
  • Hi Nichole. I started out at 242, so quite similar to you. My goal weight is 135. And I'm also 28, but no kids. Congratulations on your sweet baby! :)
  • 28 years old :) Joined in January, stopped logging, but am now back on track. So please feel free to add me! (and anyone else that needs/gives motivation)
  • Chino, California
  • Thanks sxybigbaby. You can definitely do it :) I'm glad I get to watch your journey. I'm sure you'll surpass a pound a week cause you seem to always be working out! I definitely think you're going to help motivate me to get my butt moving. Smokey, 77 lbs. That is amazing. What you said about moving or not losing weight is…
