  • If your entire group is planning on partying unil you drop, you might want to hire someone to make sure you get back to your rooms (or a room  ). If you are active duty (thank you!) no need for the MP's or CO to get involved.... Have fun!!

  • Deoderant vs Antiperspirant....two very different things. I can be clean and odor free, but still have a perspiration issue under the arms without breaking a sweat elsewhere. Wet pits outside the gym are not looked upon favorably.
  • I don't know if it is the best, but I like the Secret Clinical. I have somewhat sensitive skin under the arms and a can get migrains from certain scents. It doesn't irritate me. Oh, it stops the sweat all day too. I have tried the Dove Clinical, regular Dove, regular Secret, Degree, Lady Speed Stick, Mitchum, Tom's and…
  • I don't have the words. He lets me be me, and I let him be him. We don't try to change each other in any way...I did make him learn how to separate laundry though. We both are vocal in our appreciation and love of each other multiple times a day. We don't take anything for granted. His longest relationship had been 8…
  • I had a bad snoring problem. I tried everything. My guy has always used ear plugs because he works nights and sleeps during the day, but even he had problems with my snoring. I had the sleep study done and they found that I had restless leg syndrome, and seemed to have an issue with breathing through my nose. I did some…
  • I drink a lot of decaf teas during the winter. If I use any sweetner it is pure stevia (not Truvia or Stevia in the Raw). If you like a sweeter tea you can also look for one that has licorice in it. I count all the non caffeinated water based beverages in with my plain water, but at least half my daily is still plain water.
  • For a few minutes in the morning, early evening and bed time put your total attention on her. Ask her how her day way, and then listen. Make comments as needed or asked, but keep your attention focused on her. Tell her occasionally that you appreciate things that she does for you and the family. Give her a compliment on…
  • When I was in my mid 20's (1986-ish) I was being interviewed by 2 40+ big haired blonde women. The interview lasted about half an hour. The last question they asked "So, after talking with you we can surmise that you are not a 'dumb blonde'". I reached up and patted my dark brown hair..."Nope, the dye is dry." I started…
  • The daily stuff...dishes, laundry, dusting etc. I don't log. I do log half my time when I get into the "big stuff"... scrubbing grout on the tile floor, steam cleaning the wood floors, scrubbing down the bathroom tub/shower... the things you don't do every day/week that make me feel like I have worked out. I also log…

  • Every person is different, so it will end up being trial and error to find what you prefer and are willing to live with. Personally I prefer to go with the most unprocessed foods available. I read (and saw on You Tube) how they make the rice/soy/almond milk and other replacement foods.... uhh no thanks. I'll stick with the…
  • Check out Craigslist and the classifieds in a local online newspaper. Watch for yard sale announcements too. Another store that you have up there is Ollies, they have a ton of name brand household stuff reasonably priced.
  • Not sure, but you can kind of guess. You will have to guesstimate your miles per hour, multiply your MPH and time to get your distance guess. Or you can use one of the many online calculators such as this one... http://www.csgnetwork.com/csgtsd.html
  • A couple things you can try... Duct tape. Cover the area with duct tape and get a good tight bond, then pull it off quick in the direction of the splinter. Elmers glue. Apply a good goop of it over the splinter and let it dry very well. Peel off in the direction of the splinter. Both methods work for cactus spines too.
  • You can have both....I have 3 different bacon flavored fake salts that I use on popcorn! nom nom nom
  • Keep on the doctors until they find an answer. My guys mother used to get nasty headaches when she over did the activity. Turns out she had a brain aneurysm and was lucky it didn't burst. Another friends brother was found unconsious on the floor due to a burst aneurysm. He had been laying there about 14 hours. They got him…
  • I tried dating sites for years with the same results you have had. Lots of guys that only wanted to date the super models. I found that it wasn't until they hit their mid 30's that they figured out that the super models might not be the ones to make a future with. After I hit my mid 30's I found that there was a HUGE…
  • I tried every product on the market for allergies. The ones with decongestants in made me not sleep well enough (had sudafed in them). The one that seems to work the best for me is Allegra. I take it at bed time and it works through the entire night but doesn't make it difficult to get up in the morning. On occasion when I…
  • In my opinion if one of you are at work...work! If you are out and about then anything goes. Before my guy and I moved in together and were working opposite schedules we would text 1-2 times a day on breaks and chat online or talk on the phone when we were both off work. Since we moved in together it is rare that we text…
  • People usually shave about 10 years off my age. As long as I keep up with the hair color... but I started going gray when I was in my 20's.
  • I helped my girlfriend do her wedding on a very slim budget. We spent days making her favors. They were little scented potpourri balls tied with ribbbons in the wedding colors. We cut hundreds of little squares of white netted lace and dumped a bit of the potpourri in the middle and tied them up in bows. We used rose…
  • Another vote for LG 1080 HD LCD. The only way to figure out what one you want is to go to the electronics store and look at them side by side. Some people like the matte screen, some like the glossy. Keep in mind where you will be putting the TV.... plasmas get very warm and may "toast" the paint on the wall if it is too…
  • I have been addicted to good coffee for a long time. I have 2-3 cups in the morning, and some times maybe another 2-3 cups through out the day and evening. It doesn't keep me awake, but if I have too much it will make me sleepy. I amazed an old supervisor...we were at a quarterly meeting and he kept bringing me black…
  • I met mine in 11/2005 when I was 42. I had quit looking for a relationship, but was still in the market for "fun" dates. I was listed on a singles site and make it very clear that I wasn't looking for Mr. Right, but Mr. Atthemoment. I was working a high stress job about 75 hours a week and just wanted the occasional stress…
  • It would depend on the people involved... if she likes her alone time...a day being pampered at the day spa, or a few days at a resort spa if she enjoys time spent with you...sign up for a COUPLES cooking/dancing class What ever gift you give should be preceded by flowers and mushy card, and followed by a nice dinner…
  • Everyone has great tips! I can add.... As you pack and stack boxes also label them sequentialy.... bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3 etc. That way when you get to your final destination you know that the highest number is probably the one that should be opened first since it has the last used items in it. Pack a box that…
  • Every time my mom got a pup, the first few months it was called little ****...until we could figure out a name that fit the pups personality. They had a Snowball (used to run in the snow and tumble *kitten* over tea kettle), a Digger, and a Sparky. I have had a Snicklefritz and a Misty (she would stare blankley at the…
  • It depends on the laws in the state where the divorce is taking place. Some states have strange separation and divorce laws that have time limits, penalties, and other archaic rules in order to finalize a divorce. The only constant in every state/country is that once the divorce is finalized both parties are free to do…
  • Even on a flat hardwood floor the Wii board can be off. Mine has never even come within 20 pounds of my correct weight.:ohwell:
  • How many of you had that one second impulse to lick or smell your screen?
  • I am a softie...most any movie that has a sad or triumphant moment will get me. I even cry when reading books! The one movie that gets me blubbering every time is Armageddon.
