  • I have had one for three years. I am actually sadly dependent upon it. I get sad when the battery dies and I don't get credit for my steps. It keeps me honest about my activity and I force myself to get the steps in each day!

  • Seven Outlander books currently. The eighth is supposed to be out this fall.
  • You tell yourself that you are doing this to get and stay healthy so you will be around to see them grow up and reach the important milestones. All mothers feel guilty about something. You have to decide if your health is worth it. Getting into better shape will make you a good role model for your children as they grow.

  • I love mine! I had a fitbit ultra since September and loved to track how much I have walked over times. I washed mine....x3 and it finally stopped working (The first two times I threw it in a bag of rice and it worked again) When I emailed fitbit for a solution the third time, they offered to sell me a new fitbit one at…
  • Depends on what you are using it for, I suppose. I use my fitbit as a motivator to get up and move each day. It is like I am in competition with myself to see if I can get in more steps than the day before. I use a HRM for my workouts and only log those calories burned into MFP. I typically ignore the fitbit adjustments,…
  • I must be unique. I started at my largest a 38D and am now down to a 34/36B (on a good day)
  • We have a Grace and a Walter....Just my $.02 as a preschool director and educator for 12 years...make sure that the spelling makes sense with the pronunciation. I have had children come through my school with silent "D" or consecutive "y"s in their names. They struggle to spell them and usually become frustrated early. I…
  • It tastes like a nutty rice. I use it for all kinds of things. Tonight it was my rice in my stir fry. I have a recipe that is lik oatmeal. Look at allrecipes. They have all kinds of uses.
  • I second the Gap Long and Lean. I laughed at the salesgirl in the store when she brought them to me, but she said, "trust me" They are more of a mid rise with a great stretch. Also, buy them as snug as you can get, because they do seem to mold to your body over time. I love them. Have them in all washes and colors.
  • My husband kept talking to one once. He asked her lots of personal questions and then asked her out on a date, but made sure to tell her not tell me, his wife, because I have a very jealous, dangerous personality. She hung up. He asked another one once what type of education you needed to be a telemarketer. She replied she…
  • Just someone from the other side...my boss tried this process and messed up her body so badly that she wound up in the hospital. Her metabolism, blood sugar (obviously), electrolytes and just about everything else were completely thrown out of balance. She survived, but had to retire early (just this year) I am sure that…
  • GOT IT  Finally. I kept going to settings, but I was just not scrolling down far enough. Thanks everyone!
  • Navy wife of 10 1/2 years. Now my husband lives out of state going to medical school and comes home on weekends. While deployments can suck, they provide a great time to try out the new recipes and find new things that you love to do.
  • I was never a water drinker until several months ago. I bought a camelbak water bottle and keep it at my desk. I refill it now about four times a day, which works out to be 96oz. I reach for it almost unconsciously now. It helped me a lot!
  • I had it done here in VA about four years ago and my worst eye was -11.5. The doc here just does not guarantee 20/20 at that level. My right was corrected to 20/15 and my left was corrected to 20/30. I see 20/20 with both. Even though I don't have super hero vision now, I would still do it again. It is much better than…
