Sorry for the delay in response! I’m noticing a huge increase in motivation just from having friends on here who can see my daily activities. It makes me more optimistic about this process too! I’ve been hula hooping while dinner cooks to help make sure I’m doing my daily workouts, and I’m super sore from it today!…

I absolutely LOVE Ezekial Bread! It is 80 calories a slice, and made from whole ingredients. You can find it in the refrigerated whole foods section at grocery stores.

Check out http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/. It's easy to use, and it helps! I set mine at 0 exercise, 45%,20%, 35% for carbs, fat, and protein. I use the bmi as my goal caloric intake each day. That way, any calories I burn, I'm allowed to eat back! Good luck, I hope that helps.

I'm 5'3", 130 lbs, 35-36' hips, and it depends on the clothes. I have a pair of 4 shorts that are a little lose, and a pair of 9-10 pants that can be snug after being washed. These days 6-8 seems to be my go to pants size.

I haven't gotten to adding the barbell to my hip thrusts yet, but when I started hoop dancing, I got mad bruises on my hips, and they went away with more 'use'. The same thing happened to different areas of my body when I was just beginning as well. I think it is the body's way of warming up to an exercise, pressure, or…

Hey Y'all, My name is Katie. I am currently on week 6 of "Bootyful Beginnings". I want to work through all of the programs in the book slowly. So far, AMAZING RESULTS! My friend and I are doing this program together, and it is so nice to build on! Although my butt did not just 'up and perk up' or anything, I have…

I am 5'3", 132-133 pounds give or take, 36-37" hips with 25" waist, my pants size range is 6-8 depending on the brand, and I wear a dress size 4-6.

5'3" 135 lbs, 38, 25, 36 (super curvy) I started at 156ish in June or July of last year. My goal is 125, then total toning. Currently I am doing cardio at least 4 times a week for 45-60 minutes, and 2 days of strength training for 45-60 minutes. I eat healthy, and I am trying to start counting calories again with an…

IIFYM.com: Use the calculator :-) It will tell you everything!

I'm in! I have been trying to average about 20-25 miles a week (1 hour 5 days a week), so that should be a great goal!

Campbell's Chicken and Rice Casserole with veggies! I've been eating it for the past week, and it's delicious and easy! You just put everything in a baking dish and stick it into the oven. I didn't add the cheese, but added extra vegetables like bell peppers and onions instead. So good!!

This will sound gross, but I like to eat egg whites and peanut butter. It is delicious, and depending on the peanut butter, clean! Another option: runner's pancakes consisting of two egg whites, the normal serving of oatmeal, and blueberries. You let the oatmeal soak in the egg whites for about ten minutes, then put it on…

I'm in! Especially since I work at a gym!

When preparing for longer runs, it is best to hydrate the day before, because your body will process it and keep you hydrated the day of. I usually don't bring any water with me, but on 5Ks, they have water stops along the way.

I eat on a budget of $50-$75 every two weeks. This covers fruits, vegetables (frozen are a dollar a bag and can last about three days!), lean meats (frozen can also be cheap when you do the math on how many servings per bag), eggs, and snack bars like cliff (sometimes they are a dollar each if you find them at the right…

Try doing 15 minutes of crunches, drink a ton of water, and upping the cardio to 40-45 minutes.

Thanks for the encouragement! Though I have gained two-three pounds instead of losing anymore, I have now started studying up on why this is: I have been upping my weight training, and therefore building muscle. I definitely feel more toned! If I can get to my goal weight, then I will definitely know I can overcome my…

I used to get these all the time. Make sure your shoes are not too worn, and wrap your shins with an ace bandage to keep the muscles from moving. They should go away. pretty fast!

Leg Press! It makes me feel really strong :-) I also like the elliptical, rowing, and the stationary bike (spin bike).

For starters: Welcome! If I were you, I would try dropping the soda. It is empty calories and you will drop weight if you can rid of the habit! What I do to kick start drinking more water: cut up a lemon and put it in a water bottle. When I refill my bottle (24 ounce), I leave the lemon, and so it is slightly flavored and…

I get $1 frozen vegetables at Kroger. They have lots of different kinds. I also buy a lot of ground turkey and brown it with a little seasoning. It's great for portioning and you can make A LOT of different types of meals with it! Eggs are packed in protein and reasonably cheap as well.

Wow, you and I are in almost the exact same boat!! I am 24, 5'3" and my ideal weight is said to be 124? I should probably add that I have 32FF. It seems almost unrealistic to get to that weight, and at my current 141, It seems far away as well. Luckily, I have slowly lost my back problems due to strengthening my back and…
