I used to be a chocoholic but now I don't eat any. I refuse to have it in the house. If it's there I know I won't be able to resist it. For snacks I have fruit, museli bars, the occasional Vegemite & cheese sandwich, low fat yogurt & stuff like that.

That's a good idea for me to try. I've never really given it much thought. I usually go to the gym after work before dinner of an evening so am training on an empty stomach. Maybe having a protien milk drink before would give me more energy for my workout.

Thanks for the info everyone as I couldn't find regular treadmill & had no idea what a stair treadmill was either so I just used that in place of treadmill. I never thought to just put it in as walking/jogging.

I cut out salt from my diet years ago. I stopped cold turkey & everything tasted so bland without it. I persisted & once I got used to I could actually taste the food better rather than mostly the taste of salt. Maybe try cutting down on the amount of salt you use gradually.
