I am walking my first 5K this saturday, but my goal is to be able to run/jog one by April. My job offers a wellness program and today was our first "Couch to 5K" training session and it was not bad at all. If you can get in a group or get an accountability partner I think that will make it easier and more enjoyable.

I have a question...If I am given a 1600 calorie intake and I burn 270 calories, am I supposed to eat those calories back? I am so confused with calories taken in and calories burned and what I SHOULD be eating.
