I see bread as a vehicle for getting bread and cheese to my mouth, so when cutting calories I will cut that first because I'd rather have more cheese. It's about what calories are worth more to me.

My iPhone tracks my steps and I know it isn't accurate for me because I do most of my walking while at work and I don't have my phone on my body usually. I don't snack as much when I'm focused on eating well because the choices I make for meals keep me fuller longer than the donuts I may choose if I'm not watching my food. I also don't buy "junk" because I have issues with moderation and will eat all of it, whatever it happens to be.

I think a lot of people have such negative feelings about "diet" and exercise that they assume you're lying to yourself when you say you enjoy it. If it makes you happy, do it!

I don't sleep well if I eat too close to bed and if I'm sleepy I eat way more throughout the day, so for me it's better to go to bed hungry.

Amazon says my food scale will be arriving tomorrow and I am equal parts excited and terrified. I can recall only picking out the larger avocados at the grocery store because I knew I logged them around 300 calories and wanted to make it worth it. I may have tricked my mind, but I certainly didn't trick my body!

A good piece of shape wear can make you look as if you lost ten pounds, I'd recommend that.

When I add too much fiber too quickly I would generally have the opposite problem-nothing coming out at all, but that was almost always when I bought a super fiber cereal or snack bar or something. I don't regularly track fiber, just assume that as long as everything is moving along regularly I'm doing ok.
