Binghamton. I actually lived there until I was 8, then moved to MN, and I now live in Ohio. My parents just moved back to NY once they retired. Should be a good game tonight hunh?

Congrats to everyone on their weigh tloss. I don't weigh in until Monday, so we will find out then if I went up or down. I am getting ready to drive 7 hrs to NY, which means no gym today, but tomorrow we are moving my parents into their new home, so I think I will get a big enough workout tomorrow lifting dressers, beds,…

I love it!

I didn't make it to the gym yesterday, actually went to bed at 8:00, but I think the rest was very much needed. I did manage to stay within my calories though, so that was good. I plan to clean the house tonight, before we leave to go out of town tomorrow. That will be more beneficial than going to the gym, as I can burn…

I am adding to my 7lbs and am going to try the 17 of 24 days working out too!

I am in too! My goal is 7lbs. I am so happy to have this thread. Thanks for setting it up.

I bought one at Target for $9.99. It is an Intak by Thermos. They come in fun colors too. I take it everywhere with me (it fits in my purse), and I can easily drink my 8-10 glasses a day. It even has a little counter on it so you can keep track of how many times you fill it up each day.

Congratulations to you, and I have to second your Thank You to MFP and the people here. I too have been here for a month (in 5 days), and have seen great success. I have tried so many times before and have never lost 10 lbs, and I have done it here in a month. I feel totaly different about myself, and I feel like I can…

Last week I had a horible week, very little exercise and I ate horribly. I have vowed to be better this week. Is there anyone who would like to hold eachother accountable this week?

We will start TTC once I loose about 50-70 lbs. I am terrified of being pregnet at the weight I am currently. We are hoping within 1 year we can start trying.

Good Job! I know how difficult it is, as I caved and ate Pizza Hut last night. Knowing that you said no, when it was right in front of you....pass on some of that will power please:wink:

I quit drinking soda 372 hours ago, or 15+ days ago. The cravings are still there, especialy when I am around people who are drinking it, or when I am eatting food that I always had soda with. I quit cold turkey, and it was tough. I got really bad headaches for the first 7-9 days, but now I am feeling great. I carry a…

Ok, after stepping on the scale 4 times this morning, and getting 4 different results, I think its time for a new scale. Anyone have any suggestions of ones that will be accurate/well priced?
-
I feel your pain. I live in Lake Effect Snow Alley, and I feel like I live in a snow globe where someone keeps shaking it! I cant wait for a day when I can go for a jog outside.

I am bouncing all over the scale. I weigh myself in the morning each time, but it ranges from up 3 to down 4 to up 1 to down 2. I have been very good with my diet, only going over one day, and just by 12 calories. I eat my exercise calories, and have been working out 3-4 times a week. Is this normal? I am really frustrated!

Wow, you give me the boost of encouragement I need.

The department I work in eats out all the time. We have group day out each Thursday, and usually go out 2 or 3 other days each week. The group always goes to places that have really poor options. Many don't even have a salad on the menu. I want to be a team player, but at the same time I feel that going out is really…

I am new too. I today is day 8 for me, so I am more than willing to team up with you/others. The first week was a bit harder than I expected, so a support group sounds like just the thing for me.

I stoped drinking regular coke (couldn't drink diet due to the aspartame) 3 days ago, and the headaches are bad, but I honestly feel better already. I notice a difference in my stomach, as I don't feel nearly as bloated. It encourages me to keep staying away from it.

I have been using the elliptical for several months now (on and off), and it seems to happen almost every time. I tried buying insoles for my shoes, but maybe I should just get a new pair all together.

Has anyone had problems with their feet/legs going numb while using the elliptical. I talked to the trainer at my gym, and she said it was normal, but it seems weird to me. After about 10 minutes, I start loosing feeling in my toes, and it spreads up my legs, until I have to stop, and walk around for a while to get feeling…
