for me it was end of 09, he talked me into filing jointly but then kept my share of the refund...and yes, the next year I definitely made out nicely with my refund being a single mom with kids! sweet justice is right! now this year he is asking me for part of my refund for medical bills. Lovely exes.

I got screwed the year I got divorced with taxes too. I had a refund coming to me but we filed jointly so he just kept it all!!! buttholes

this is why I said for those of us getting a refund. I know a lot of friends who don't get a refund. One day I am sure will be me too.

I forgot to mention that. We are either moving to a bigger place or paying our rent up a few months. I'm job hunting, graduated from dental school in Oct. We may wait til I get a job to move.

oh I've been there! that's why I am now spending it the past couple years to make my home nice, all I got when I moved out was this damn chair that I just mentioned, which is falling apart! Last year I bought a bed, new bedding, lamps, dresser, and bedside tables. I was sleeping on an air mattress.

here's what I was getting at with my post earlier about the alcohol/calorie content in bud select 55's vs regular light beer....I had to do the math again because what I was saying probably didn't make much sense! It would take 10.5 bud select 55's to get you equally as drunk as a 6 pack of miller lite, and it would be 7…

I happen to like fiber one bars. the 90 calorie ones are pretty great :) for me I don't like taking the *time* to eat in the morning I would rather just sip coffee as well, not to mention I'm not usually hungry. There's lots of great things you can do with oatmeal and quinoa too.

I did the math once... with the amount of alcohol in a bud select 55 calorie, you could drink just as many Miller lites and be like twice as drunk. or close to it. lol

I basically watch what I eat through the day and then have what I want at dinner time. I just try not to go crazy with portions!

it's night time for me too. I am used to having a popcorn snack almost nightly, around 10pm. cutting that out has been tough. I drink coffee in the morning, and unless I am at work during the day, I don't get hungry. I'm not sure why when I am at work I get snacky and hungry?

the thread I just posted "where not eating clean all weekend got me" talks about the same thing! I got on the scale this morning and gained 4 lbs. Doesn't mean I am giving up, I just started...but I didn't like seeing that! I wanted to throw the scale in the trash, it hasn't been telling me what I want to hear for months.

thank you the water weight in the muscles is probably what's happening. I didn't eat anything crazy over the weekend, just ate more and less healthy than usual. Even at Applebees I ordered the under 550 calorie steak meal (it was so good)

you started at 150 and only have 2 lbs to go? that's awesome! We must have different body types if their jeans didn't fit before losing the weight... I am currently around 155 and I wear their jeans, size 10. the trousers were my most recent purchase.

I so love hearing everyone's feedback. Of all the strength exercises done, I think anterior raises are the hardest for me. I'll get stronger and better. I know I only did this one day, and I didn't eat clean all weekend, (however, I don't feel I overdid it) but I weighed myself this morning and was 4 lbs over my start…

I don't think I will get bored, I've done another dvd workout before for a couple consecutive months and was fine. Maybe do every other day 30DS and Zumba or something fun? As for the insanity and this Shaun guy, I'll pass....for now :) I'm easing into this and my body is definitely saying to me right now..."wtf?!"

I've tried on expensive jeans, even own a couple pair. I still swear by American Eagle's jeans. They are reasonably priced too. If you want a pair that are cute and comfy, and can be dressed up or down, try the trouser jean. I'm a heels kinda girl so I think they look fabulous with a pair of pumps or heeled boots :)
