That is what I do :) but I eat more than 1200 lol My two delicious yogurts are for tonight usually around 9pm before bed ;)

How long ago was the fusion? I have had 4 back surgeries and a ruptured brain aneurysm... don't assume you can't do it. It took me a LONG time (until recently which is about 2 years) after the aneurysm to even remotely try exercising again (mental game). I do strength training even with the back and it actually helps…

I have two in my house lol in case my husband is using one for some odd reason lol

Well by extreme I meant it is extreme for me right now, but being prior Army bodyweight exercises are easy for me to adjust to, hopefully one day I can do other things but for now I will be happy with this :)

Good for you!! I promise when you zero in on what works it all comes together like magic lol

I am hypo/hashi and CICO does work (along with a multitude of other medical stuff)... Trick is to get the medical under control first.. For me that was a really high dose of synthroid.. I have learned in many years what levels work best for me and I have established with my doc to keep them in that range.. Thyroid meds are…
-
I meant it.. Extremely high dosage LOL but it is the only thing that worked for me and my docs know that I want to keep my my TSH around .5-.8 because that is where I feel best.

For me what works (you just have to adjust and find your sweet spot) is setting my goal to a certain number per day regardless of workouts. I don't record calories burned because I have accounted for that in my deficit already. I also recalculate and adjust frequently as it will fluctuate the more you lose and strength…

Haha 300mcg ;)

Hypo/Hashi's here.. I can say that doing this all previously, I lost almost 30lbs just by calories and weight lifting :) the trick is to make sure your meds are working and keeping everything in check.. I take an extremely high dose which is the only thing to keep my levels normal.

I will mark this to answer later because it is a long one :)

I have to tell you that a couple of years ago, I followed heavy lifting and eating about 1700 cals a day... I dropped weight like crazy... Sadly, things happened medically and I had to stop everything.. Literally. It has been 2 years since I have been able to do anything again and I am glad to do this all over!! It WILL…

I have not seen it be a "thing" for me whenever I lost weight last time... The body chooses where to lose and when to lose from that spot.. You will never be able to speed that up. I know that it will take me a very long time to sheink the tummy area :)
-
Absolutely.. Like I said that is my personal based on how it makes me feel versus other percentages and it supports my strength training really well
-
I set mine at 40 carbs, 30 fat, 30 protein Works well for me :)
-
15 lbs is great for less than 2 months!! Think about it this way... Normal loss is 1lb a week so at 2 months that is about 8lbs and you are almost double
-
For me, I find it easiest to just play with what works for me. I eat a steady number of cals around 1600-1700 NORMALLY (except this week lol) and don't worry about trying to calculate exercise cals into it... Gives me normally a big enough deficit to hit my targets and keeps me from starving and being really angry lol
-
I will take inch loss over weight ANY day lol
-
This is/was one of my all time fav threads... Sad tears for the awesome older pics that don't show up any more
-
Mine usually goes a solid 3 weeks dropping then when I hit about the 10lb lost mark it slows down. I might go 5 days before seeing a drop and then 3 days after that see 2lbs... Go for the trend! It is really cool plotting it into excel and doing trend charts.. Yup.. I am nerdy like that
-
Well that had a lot more in it.. Sorry!! Hope to post my own progress one day!!
-
I am 5'8 (or close enough for gov't work) and currently 185. I lost quite a bit here before really getting into the philosophy of heavy lifty and eating A LOT of food... Had my own medical issues that were quite devastating and left me unable to work out for quite a while.... I still won't be able to do heavy lifting
-
So by reading everything here.. I am on the highest dose and pretty much the highest my PCP has seen.. I take 300mcg daily. I have hashi's as well. My weight has been fluctuating for years and tops out at about 190lbs. To lose weight for me, I have to be very meticulous with calories and weighing food. I also have to…

i say eat pizza and make yourself happy :) I, personally, am having Jason's Deli tonight.... :)

if you aren't losing then you logging that exercise isn't helping you.... stick to the calorie count only and never log cleaning house... change your MFP to lightly active... that will adjust your calories and keep you straight. For now, don't log exercise just your food... Now food.. make sure you weighing food with a…

TRUTH! I would commit murder at the amount your eating..... my kids would not be happy LOL
