  • You can change to metric by going to Home, Settings & Change to Metric, it's second from the bottom. Don't know if this will also change the Water to litres, or if it's just the food
  • Don't be embarrassed & don't overdue it either. If your legs are really hurting, then alternate your workout days between elliptical & treadmill for a while. You could also do any of the leg strengthening machines, or just do some squats to build your leg muscles.

  • I do the same as Barbiecat, I take all the info off the Nutritional Facts for each item I use, total it up & divide by portions. Then save it as a meal.

  • Glad to hear he's going to see the Dr. He should request a Cardiac Stress Test, as well as having his vitals taken. Always better to be safe than sorry, I will keep my fingers crossed that he is healthy & just trying to get out of exercising. <g>

  • Anyone who starts an exercise program is supposed to get the all clear from their Dr. first, no matter their age. There's no point in starting a cardio program if you have an underlying condition that could kill you. Yet I seldom see anyone suggest that on these Boards.

  • The numbness seems to be a common problem, only my right foot used to go numb but after a few months it subsided. When I first started I too could only do 10 mins, now I can do 45 mins with no problem
  • It's because no one person burns the same. The best thing is to use a HRM get your reading for specific exercises & create them in your exercise database.
