I was diagnosed at early 40. I am going on 42. So it hasn't been that long.

Amazing story. Way to go. Would like it know how to achieve such amazing results.

I am on Synthroid, and have not experienced any side effects whatsoever.

So far I find I feel better taking it at night, but I will give it some more time before I see some actual changes by taking it at night. So far it has not affected my sleep. :bigsmile:

Howdy, I am a Mom of a 2 yrs old and seriously trying to lose the 'baby fat' as well. But I have suffered so many setbacks since having Nicolas that I am really frustrated. But one day at a time is all I keep saying to myself.

I thought I would add on to this thread even though I want to lose 35lbs. I figured it was close enough... ;)

I am in my 3rd month of synthroid after being diagnosed with hypothroidism.... She kept me on the same dosage since last checkup, but I am hoping it doesn't take as long as I am hearing from some of you....would be really discouraging....

Hi ShellSwaine, have you ever had your TSH or Thyroid tested? Maybe you might have to also up your calories, maybe 1400 is too ow for you right now.
