There will always be a better/healthier choice. There is just an entire lack of understanding for these people's mindsets. Empathy is non existent judgments abound.

But it's so much easier to just call people lazy. People who have never been there don't realize that people choose to feed their families Ramen (12 packages for $1 in my area) because they can't afford the $1.50 head of lettuce because it won't go as far. In rural areas (I am in West Virginia) there aren't a lot of fresh…

I just use my iphone notepad to keep track.

What you are asking for does not exist. Every bathing suit ever is designed to squish boobs or provide no support at all. At least that has been my problem. I guess I am just here to commiserate.
-
Me too. I have never even thought of this as a question. It is just ingrained in our culture.

I'm from the south. Men pay for dates. Men pay in any social situation where they are out with a woman even if it's only friends getting together. Most men I know get all huffy if you attempt to pay for anything. Even my husband. Even though it's our money since we put everything into a joint account. He still must…

I love all thing with Buffalo sauce. Sounds delicious.

Aries. It fits me for sure.

Mmmmmmmm

I double up on sports bras. Sometimes it's just necessary.

My family thinks it's cool that I want to be strong. They all also are impressed with my weight loss since they have all struggled with their weight forever. They do find my other lifestyle choices weird though - we don't have tv and we cloth diapered our son.

I am currently at 105 but I am going for 115 on Saturday. I use a Smith machine so I know it's easier...

I need this! I'm in. Also, feminism was about being able to choose what we want not having it predetermined for us because of our gender. I choose to clean, but so does my husband. Win.

Much better thank you! He has Cystic Fibrosis so these things are 'normal' for our family.
-
Thank you. The soreness seems to be going away as the day goes on. Is this DOMS?

QOTD: I watch a lot of different shows, but only once they come out on DVD. We don't have cable and haven't had it for years - we still don't miss it.

Side note: What kind of carrier do you use? My son outgrew our Ergo in height but not weight. I also live in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. :)

Um...I weigh more than you now and I alternate lifting heavy and running 5 days a week. Your body is capable of more than you give it credit for. I started working out a year ago at almost 300 pounds and I did Zumba, rode an exercise bike, and started the Couch to 5K program. Unless you have some kind of medical condition…

I believe my husband and I were the only people on the planet that enjoyed 'The Love Guru'.

If you are mostly walking/hiking I would skip the jogging stroller and go for a carrier. I loved my Ergo for this when my son was smaller. It is good up to 40 pounds and puts very little stress on your shoulders and back. The only bad thing was he grew out of it before the weight limit was reached because he was so tall.

I would love to have them!

Same issue here. I do better on days when I have more carbs like sweet potatos.
-
Also there was the new A-team movie recently...so there's that.

We are shooting for bi-weekly this year. In the past three years it has been more like 2 times total. Our three year old has cystic fibrosis and requires some extra things that not a lot of sitters are comfortable with. We have moved closer to grandma so we have been able to go out much more often this year.

Hi! I'm Brentney I have one beautiful three year old boy and have been married for 6 years. I log every day and workout about 6 days/week. I have already lost over 60lbs but I have about 40 more to go!

My toddler is on a high cal diet. We use a lot of nut butter, full fat dairy, and avocado.

The other day I saw a man in khaki's, polo shirt, and dress shoes on the treadmill. S unday I was next to a woman on the ellipitcal who seriously texted like a mad woman the entire time while she moved the elliptical just fast enough so it wouldn't turn off. There is another woman I see in the mornings a few days a week…

Bailey's and coffee.

That stinks. We are very much a 'routine' oriented family and this has really thrown us off. Also I miss my 'me' time.

Haven't puked in 24 hours so thanks for your concern but I think I will be fine to hit the gym in morning since I feel much better when I work out than when I don't.
