LetsTryThisAg- I've tried melatonin. It helps me relax, but doesn't necessarily guarantee I'll sleep better. Ir seems to work better some days than others.

Generally, not enough. I'm a light sleeper who drinks too much caffeine and has too many loud distractions around the house. I am in bed about 7 hours a night, however a lot of that is me TRYING to sleep. Some nights don't get more than 4 or 5 hours and other nights I might get 7 or 8. On weekends, I try to make up for…

Had a big glass of wine, sitting here playing angry birds, watching tv and getting very very sleepy!

That is great! Congratulations on all that hard work! It's gotta feel good pulling on those 10's! You look great! Thanks for sharing your story! It further inspires me!

LOVE that movie! ; )

I'm definitely more emotional, which probably makes me want to eat badly. I turn to salty crunchy snacks or pizza during that time.

The biggest thing I've given up is my free time. I spend a lot of time exercising now, which I don't dislike necessarily, but it doesn't leave me time for a lot of other pursuits during the week. I love oil painting. I haven't had the time to devote to that in a LONG time. I guess you can say exercising has become my new…

In my opinion, any day you stay within your calories you can chalk up to a "win". Tomorrow, you can just try to eat healthier. Hang in there and don't beat yourself up about it.

What a wonderful idea! Thanks for passing it along! I've passed it on now too to people I care about (and hopefully some strangers too!).

Hey everyone. I started my weight loss January 3rd (but who's keeping track, right?), and I've lost 74 lbs to date. I have another 70-75 lbs I'd like to lose. My fitness pal has been an amazing help to me. I've lost weight before (100 lbs in my early teens, 80 lbs in my late teens/early 20's and another 80 in my late 20's)…

I work out at home a lot. I have a treadmill and an old Total Gym. Also have a very small above ground pool, just big enough to swim in a circle. I work out most days, and don't have a gym membership. I just mix it up: do the treadmill a couple days a week, go bicycling a couple days a week and swim several times a week.…

In approximate order, to the best of my feeble memory, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice in Chains, Sepultura, Meatloaf, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Metallica, Live, Matchbox 20, Sugar Ray, Queensryche, Dave Matthews, Deep Purple, Lynard Skynard, and probably a few more I'm forgetting.

5 foot 2 and 38 years old! You're welcome to add me as a friend.

mollyvon... hmmm... mid 20's? Nice smile.

I don't have too many friends on here yet either. Feel free to add me if you like. ; )

I don't think of myself as a "jogger" really. But, I do jog on the treadmill (albeit slowly). I started at 278 lbs, doing exactly what you are doing. I would jog till I thought I was going to die, then walk until I regained my breath and jog again. I pushed myself every day to do more jogging than walking. That's what you…

I've noticed this about myself... I will go 2 weeks without any loss then I'll drop 3 or 4 pounds seemingly over night. Then, the cycle starts over. I think it's always been that way with me. I just remind myself to be patient. And, eventually, I do lose.

Congratulations on all that hard work. You look great!

Veggie Lasagna with soy "mozzarella" cheese, ricotta, mushrooms, spinach, roasted red/orange/yellow bell peppers, onion and Tempeh.

I've noticed that too. I don't get quite so overheated as I used to. I find I don't need the house to be as cool and I'm more inclined to be outside when it's hot and it doesn't really bother me as much as it did when I was heavier! BONUS! ; )

Used to be regular Coke. As I've been trying to lose weight, I've switched to diet sodas at least. On a good day I might only have 1 can, on a bad day I may have a 44 oz fountain diet coke plus one or 2 cans of soda throughout the day. I also have an addiction to all things crunchy. I love bagel chips, pita chips,…

My caloric intake is set at 1200 when I don't account for any exercise. I typically eat more to offset any exercise I do so I break even around 1200 net calories. The more I exercise, the more I eat. I typically exercise about 5-6 days a week for 30-60 minutes a day. I've lost 74 pounds to date. I've got another 60 to go.…

This sounds awesome! Thank you! I'm always looking for a good light dessert.

I have a long drive to work in the mornings and I just can't get my butt out of bed early enough to exercise in the mornings. I typically exercise within an hour of getting home at night. Sometimes before dinner, sometimes after. And, if I'm feeling really ambitious, I'll walk on my lunch break in addition to or instead of…

Hi there! I've lost 68 pounds and I've got another 70 to go. Halfway there!
