Thanks for all the ideas !

Good for you, figuring out how to log partial portions. :) I rarely eat a whole portion...with the exception of the entire 2 ozs of pasta...can't believe how small that amount is in comparison to my prior MFP eating habits.

Thanks.

Thanks for all the replies. I drank more water today...50 oz. And figured out that I have been skipping lunch for awhile, to allow a larger calorie dinner. Slowly going back to my old ways....used to just eat dinner, that was it. Anyway, had lunch, more water = no headache today. :) Yea !

The reason why reducing carbs is I truly think that is the main reason I gained weight. Pasta, potatoes, blah, blah. Feel so much better, with the exception of these minor headaches. Hoping that water/Gatorade will help me thru this. Thanks.

Thanks. I am working very hard on reducing my carb intake...that might very well be the reason. Maybe as time goes on the headaches will go away...just like people who cut way back or eliminate soda. I am guessing the same issue. System just not used to it.

What type of help are you looking for ? 7 1/2 weeks...how much are you trying to lose ?

Whatever you eat and whenever. Eat very slow, savor every bite and actually pay attention to the flavor/taste. It amazes me how doing this has reduced my portions...now eat dinner on a salad plate and sometimes don't finish. The days of a 8-10 oz steak with all the norm sides or a plate full of pasta, are long gone. Good.…

Thanks, a new idea I have never tried. My latest is feta cheese crumbles, lemon, Dijon, topped with asparagus tips.

I also have 10 lbs to go and I also love carbs ! What do you mean by low, low starting tomorrow ? My goal is 75 a day and that seems to be work out fine, semi difficult but doable. On avg I am losing .65 lb a week . Celery sticks and super crunchy peanut butter are one of my favs for breakfast. Looking forward to others…

Chips, juice and only have 2oz of pasta once or twice a week. Juice...I bought some of the 3oz paper bathroom Dixie cups. If I want juice, that's it. Works for me.

All time fav homemade dressing ! Hands down. Use sparingly and toss the salad, not a drizzle or pour type. This serves 4. 1/2 cup mayo 2 T sugar 2. T white wine vinegar Let sit 1 hour before using. I use with a spinach salad. Adding bean spouts, red onion, bacon?, sliced water chestnuts, mandarin oranges or pear, toasted…

I currently weigh 151 and I am 5 ' 7. I eat on average 1400 calories a day. I don't exercise but fairly active. Losing on average / over last 10 weeks. .67 lb weekly. Drink water at least 40 oz a day and try not to eat after dinner.

Took me 4 years...not trying, not using this website, even though I registered at that time... To lose 26 lbs. No one noticed. But hey, at a 1/2 lb a month it was a very slow transformation.... 10 weeks ago I decided to put forth more effort and have lost 6 more lbs. My husband and two good friends all have mentioned that…

Eat, three times a day, minimum. Make your soda a treat within daily calorie goal each day. Water. Set a goal...say 40 oz a day, to start and if you do that, then have a little soda. Log everything ! And weigh portions ! (food scale) When you start losing , even a pound or two, you will be happier and have more energy.…

Cut out bread and pasta and see what happens....can't hurt. I have been about 95% gluten free for 4 years. Have some just once in a great while. And that has helped my stomach issues, big time.

Thanks. all good ideas. :) I love tacos but never tried that type of fish, usually tilapia. Need to look into stir fry, I have a couple of woks...electric and standard...collecting dust. Ok, looking forward to researching ideas now.

I would if I drank soda. Hang in there, you can do this. Every once in awhile, I think just a sip or two of coke sounds good. OMG nasty just feel like I have sugar coated teeth.

Kirkland. 45 years. Now in Southern Nevada. Much better weather here. :)

I only like to weigh in when I "feel" as though I have lost . Would rather see a loss of 1-2 lbs than like .5 lb. So usually every other week for me.
