I made a decision in January of this year to start taking care of myself. MFP provided me with a tool that helped me stick to it. I have been making that decision every day since then. No deadlines, just one long term goal - a healthy me!

I'm 58, finally at a healthy weight, and my wife and family love me and are proud of me. I have decided to embrace me as I am, loose skin and all. I'm trying to tighten some of it with weight and ab workouts, but I am not going to allow myself to obsess over it. I want to fully enjoy the new me!

That's great! Goals are important. I'm one pound away from my first goal of 20 pounds. Next goal - 5 more pounds, so I can buy myself new clothes. This is quite the adventure.
