I have lost 115 lbs and yes, people are acting completely different now... I noticed it when I became fat, I became invisible, now that I am thinner, people notice me again. Most people have positive reactions to my weight loss though, they say it's awesome etc, and really their first question is always "how long did it…

Oh wow, thank you, thank you, so much, for the kind words and the support, you guys made me cry. It feels so good to know that I am not alone, that others know what it feels like. It is hard for me to talk about it in my "real" life... Everybody is telling me that I have done great etc, which is super nice, but I don't…

Well done! that is truly amazing!!

Thanks! ;-)

Thank you all so much for the kind words. To those who have lost too: Congrats!!!!! To those who are just getting started: You can do it!! Seriously. If my lazy butt can do it, then you can totally do it too!!

Thank you again! As far as time, it has taken me a LONG time to lose that weight. I had lost the first 35 lbs over 3 years and the remaining 80 lbs over the last 2 1/4 years. (since I started working out). Every single pound I lose is a battle. Some weeks I love .2 ;-) Other weeks I lose a pound, those are the good weeks.…

This is my work in progress photo. I am down 115lbs.

I sell them at a consignment store and get new ones with the credit ;-) Less expensive than getting brand new clothes, esp. since I switch sizes every two months ;-)

Yes, I work out every day, with doubles. The doubles are usually when I have a Zumba class. (ex: Insanity + Zumba) but never two "hard" workouts in a row (Zumba is the easy one now, just cardio, nothing compared to Insanity or a circuit session with our trainer) and I keep Sundays off for rest. But yeah it is a big change…

Wow! Thank you all so much! The Zumba pants are new actually, I always dreamed of wearing some but never felt confident enough to do so. Until very recently. A little challenge to myself ;-)

Thank you! As far as my fitness level, it is better than it used to be, which is not hard since I had NEVER exercised before in my life, hahaha.. and I am improving every day but I still struggle, but it's OK. As long as I push myself and I challenge myself, I know I will get stronger and things will seem easier. I do…

Thank you all for your comments, I hope it can help somebody. Exercise is really the key for me. And exercise can actually be fun, that's very important especially when you are just getting started. For me it was Zumba, but it can be anything you think could be fun. Swimming, Walking, classes.. Just go out there and find…

My before and during photos.. 115 lbs lost so far:

As far as the "diet" (which is really really really not a diet), I did count calories for a while with MFP, measuring and all that. It really helped. Now I have learned how to eat "clean" for the most part, I have reduced my carbs and increased my protein and veggies and it's working. I don't even think about it anymore.…

I agree with most things said here: the "I don;t care" feeling about indulging in 15 cookies at a time., the ability to not be tipsy after one drink (Seriously'?) and not be cold.. And my boobs. haha BUT none of these hold a candle to the well being I am feeling now that I am 115lbs lighter!
