  • "Well what are we going to do about all the animals there are now?" - um I don't know, NOT torture them mercilessly before going to their slow and painful deaths? STOP breeding massive numbers of animals? "Well I guess I'm just a sociopath because I don't care, bacon tastes good" - I DARE you to do any amount of research…
  • I can hide eggplant in nearly everything, wouldn't even know it's there. I like to pop eggplant and squash into chili or taco filling. I also LOVE kale! It stays nice and firm unlike spinach which turns to snot when you cook it
  • You look great AND you have good oral hygiene! *Win*
  • Sounds good :) I really need to get back into running
  • I like kale (kale is the steak of greens)
  • My son was born 10/24 so sounds like we're in the same boat :) I'm trying not to stress the weight loss part right now, just trying to eat as healthily as possible and I figure my body will hold on to what it needs to feed the kiddo. What I've heard is that until they're weaned we won't really lose the last 10-15 lbs. I…
  • I went with "mostly-vegan" because I don't know enough to be honest! I figure I'll make a couple of slip-ups without knowing. We're also a little cash-poor so any sunk money, i.e. already purchased items, we'll be working through in the mean-time. I already own leather shoes, we have a number of products that are not vegan…
  • So how is everyone doing? I don't know if ya'll use the What to Expect app for the iPhone but you should! There's an October 2012 group on there which is still going strong with the little things that crop up now that we've all had our little ones.
  • Any advice on switching velcro for snaps and for changing the elastic out in the BumGenius 4.0s? I got a huge batch used for almost nothing because all the elastic and velcro is going and I got replacement from CottonBabies but now I'm thinking I should just go ahead and put in snaps instead of the hook and loop. Any one…

  • I had my son on 10/24 via c-section so now I have a lovely little puffy flap (ick!) I am just doing a little walking right now, have my follow-up appointment today to see how I'm healing. I'm watching my food...sorta...and exclusively pumping so at least I'm earning back some calories. I gained 50+ lbs during the…
  • I need to make some of these! I want to up my production by a ton. Only two weeks PP but I'm trying to build up my supply for when I end up going back to work. I'd love to have enough frozen by 6 months to last through the first year! Probably asking too much but I'm going to try
  • I'm only 2 weeks post-pregnancy and gained 50+ lbs with my son. I've lost 26 lbs in these two weeks but I know the other half is going to take some effort! I have another couple of weeks before I can do anything strenuous. Right now I'm just walking and watching my calories. I am EPing as well.
  • Yay congratulations!! :flowerforyou:
  • No Debbie-Downers!
  • Well hoping people feel better about their weight gain after my post here  Over the course of 40 weeks (gave birth on my due date) I gained 50 lbs :ohwell: One week later and I have lost 22 lbs of it. I had a C-section and so have not been working out, just eating right and had that fall off quick! I'm BF-ing so…

  • Alexander Wyche S. Birth Story!! So as many know I was scheduled to go in for a C-section on Monday the 22nd because lil' baby boy was transverse. We showed up at 5:30am to check in for the 7:30am procedure. Once in we found out SURPRISE #1 - our "scheduled" C-section wasn't on the schedule at the hospital, just with the…
