As I'm losing weight my stretchmarks that were always there are becoming more obvious. Perhaps this is the case for you too?

Oh and for 'races' I don't walk. Well not so far anyway ;)

This is just my experience.... I did the c25k program and when I finished I could run about 3.5k in the allocated time. I then worked on adding 1/2k per week to this distance until I hit 8k and then jumped to 1k being added per week. For the last couple of months I've been doing one long run, one interval run and one tempo…

I have some Running Bare ones that aren't see through, but purchased another pair in that brand recently only to find out that those ones are. My 4yr old screeched out that she could see my flowery undies through them, so they have been put away for 'later' lol

I'm currently 105kg/231pounds and I am doing a half in September. Honestly, my goal is to finish it lol I ran (no walk breaks) 11k last week in 1hr 31mins, so I hope to scrape in under 3 hours. I'm also hoping to be down between 6kg and 10kg by then too, as I'm hoping it'll make it easier on my body. I have a training plan…

OP your friend doesn't sound like any fun to me, she sounds pretty horrible actually. I would be cutting her out of my life if I was you, as it'll only get worse. I've lost a couple of acquaintances, but no actual friends.

I had a 'hypno gastric band' fitted, it wasn't just regular weight loss hypnotherapy. I had also been to many therapists re my disordered eating, without success. Different strokes for different folks, but I'm happy I did it and my life is so much better for it :) eta and I was aware of what she was doing on the phone ;)

Firstly, please know that all is not lost and you can beat this. For the last 20 odd years I have suffered from mainly bulimia but also other eating disorders. I saw a hypnotherapist last September and it was honestly life changing. From the first session, all of those negative thoughts were gone and they haven't made a…

The program was 4 x weekly visits and then a follow up a month later and I listened to a recording that my hypnotherapist had made at least once a day during that period. She actually called me one day recently when I was having a huge crisis of confidence before a run that I was doing and by the time I got off the phone I…

I never run two days in a row. I started c25k in January and the one time I did two days in a row, I was in a whole world of pain. I am now able to run for 11k without stopping and am starting training this week for a half marathon. Yay! Enjoy it, but don't push it ;)

Sounds like shin splints to me. Mine stopped once I got properly fitted for new shoes at an actual running store. I also try not to land so heavily on my heels and that helps too. Good luck!

I used the zenlabs version and was very happy with it. It's free :)

yHave you googled to see if you can join a group or are you wanting to do it solo?

I'm no expert, but from what I've read it can take 2-3 years for your skin to go back as much as can. I have decided to keep up my training, wait it out and hopefully get used to it so I can getting boobs done :)

Mine have gone down about half a size. The ones I tried to wear today kept flopping around on my feet lol

After reading the last couple of posts, I thought I should add that I am back here tracking at myfitnesspal because with the huge increase in exercising (I average 6-7 hrs per week of intense exercise), my appetite increased and I had no idea what I was supposed to do or whether I was eating enough. After tracking for only…

I just posted in another hypnotherapy thread, so will paste in what I wrote :) 'I had hypnotherapy for a 'hypno gastric band' and it has worked really well for me. Not only did I lose weight, but I started running which is something that I have secretly wanted to do for a long time. I started learning to run on Jan 3 this…

I had hypnotherapy for a 'hypno gastric band' and it has worked really well for me. Not only did I lose weight, but I started running which is something that I have secretly wanted to do for a long time. I started learning to run on Jan 3 this year, at which point I thought I was going to die each time I had to run for 60…
