Holy amazing change. Congrats on all your hard work and doing it while your husband was deployed. INCREDIBLE!!!

congrats! what a great accomplishment.

For rice I will cook up a big pot of brown rice and then put it on a baking sheet and freeze it in a flat layer until it's cold, not rock solid, then I'll just break it apart and have my own "quick" rice. Pop it in the microwave with a splash of water and a bit of plastic wrap to steam it and you are good to go.

congrats on your loss and changes in your life. As someone with an eating disorder I know how hard it can be to battle those mental demons. Great job. You are an inspiration.

We have a treadmill, a stationary bike, two bike trainers so we can put our regular bikes on them too, loads of yoga / pilates stuff (balls, mats medicine balls), a total gym, something called a Leg Magic for inner and outer thighs and we're going to get a rebounder. Probably not stuff a 16 y/0 would want (rebounder and…

More sriracha fans here. We put it on homemade pizza, in lasagna, egga, rice, quinoa, I put it in our tempeh bacon marinade. Husband said he would eat it off a flip flop.

congrats on overcoming. Good for you. the big difference I found was that not knowing how fast I was running outside I took off and didn't keep the pace up for very long. I need to be able to learn to pace myself without looking down at the treadmill display.

Could be that your just using muscles that you haven't in a while. I'd be consulting a doctor if the pain continues or gets worse. Try doing some stretching after your walk or foam rolling to help loosen up the muscles.

Take care of it! RICE, do calf raises and rest!! I injured both tendons about 5 years ago and I have pain in them every single day. It sucks. So take care of yourself and don't over do it.
-
Another vote for foam rolling. Fairly inexpensive piece of equipment to torture yourself with. It's a great help to loosen up muscles similar to a deep tissue massage and you can use it all over.

joining in and starting tomorrow. I've done it before and ran two 5Ks right after completing it. Looking forward to getting back on a running programme.

I love either Clean Bottle or a Polar Insulated Bottle.

omg is it over yet :-) actually mostly day to day mundane stuff. House renos, banking, upcoming events blah blah blah. Pretty boring. Unless I'm doing something that's really pushing me then I think about people on here and friends who have succeeded and are inspiring.

I went on holiday last year to mexico with my husband and another couple (she is also "fluffy") and we were both worried about finding bathing suits. Well we ended up with tankinis and when we got there holy cow, all shapes and sizes wearing whatever they wanted. Like you I admired their confidence. Good on 'em I say. It…

Like others have said, work with your body type. You may want to try a Barre class or even a Barre youtube workout, I can recommend a good one if you're interested. It's part cardio, strength training, ballet and pilates. I've been doing it for about 3 weeks and I'm already noticing a difference in my legs and bum

Agree with all the others here. Start slow. I have severe asthma (daily steroids) and when I first started working out I'd be gasping for air like mad. I struggle on humid and cold windy days. I make sure to have my ventolin near by, take breaks when I need them and the fitter I get the better my breathing was. Not saying…

great job! you look fantastic but most importantly you look happy. Thanks for the inspiration.

"If you're going through hell, keep on going" - Winston Churchill I repeat this on the treadmill regularly.

What about a local "stroller group" or a mum's group that walks in the park to get you started now and then in the AM try a DVD or even a youtube workout. If I have 20 minutes to spare I'll head over to youtube and do a barre workout. You don't have to be intimidated that the videos / dvd's are longer do what you can. I…

This!! I did 21 days junk free and it just kind of stuck. Had a small sip of coke on day 30 and it was way too sugary. I've lost the taste for it now.

LOL. I know what you mean. By the time I've washed out my curls and dried and styled it I'm in need of another shower!

great work. Love the retro bikini, so cute. Have a great holiday.

Depends. Mostly I don't but if I've had an excessively hard or long workout then I'll eat some of them back. I don't go out of my way to do it though and I always eat them as healthy calories. It's not like I've got 900 extra calories so I'm having ice cream and chocolate, it's more protein or veggies for me. All that…

I am sure it shouldn't be an issue. I can ask dh's aunt what here thoughts are on running and barre. I've found that my balance is getting better every time and my posture is already miles better. I'm more aware of my core (or lack of)

huge congrats!
-
WOW!! Congrats! That is a big win for the whole family! Congrats to you and the mister on your hard work. You look fab.

I don't count my housework / laundry or gardening either, but I am renovating our house at the moment so when I know I'm going to be doing a lot of going up and down the ladder, painting a ceiling (cheap arm and shoulder workout) or putting down flooring then I wear my HRM and I'm always shocked at how much I burn.
-
wow. you guys both look great! congrats on all your hard work

oh no. How sad. I almost lost my wedding ring out the car window one day. Luckily it dropped inside and under the seat. It is currently on the other hand until I get it resized.
