Congrats. Great NSV's. Those are more impactful than a number to me.

Great NSV!! I take the scale as one indicator, but not the only one as to how I'm doing. Good job, keep up the amazing work.

My husband's aunt is becoming a Barre Concept instructor so I've been her guinea pig while she leaves and I love it! It's the only work out that I've been able to do over and over and not get bored with. I've got my husband hooked on it now.

amazing and inspiring. congrats.

I press it under a plate and two large tins of beans for about 20 - 30 minutes. Then I slice it up and fry it in a non-stick pan, with the tiniest bit of oil. Once it is crispy I either put it in the fridge and then dip it in a little homemade peanut sauce or I'll add it to steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots…

Water Intoxication is rare so I wouldn't be too worried about that. Kidneys can filter about 1L (4cups) of water an hour. The key is to drink water but not massive quantities at once. If you are working out a lot, sweating a lot or the weather is hot / humid you're bound to go through more water. If you're thirst is…

I have heard great reviews from friends that have the Vitamix but the cost is a little prohibitive for lots of people, me included. I currently have a classic, one speed, well two if you count pulse, a heavy glass jar and and it chews up frozen fruit without issue.

Double Deckers are my nemesisi. Luckily in Canada they are only available at the local "English shop" and they are $2 each! Otherwise I'd be in big trouble..

Someone once said, I liked you better when you were fat. Seriously?? Who says that. I think they liked me more when I was 50lbs heavier because I made them feel better about themselves or ok with the poor decisions they were making. Apparently I am no fun when I don't want to have ice cream and chocolate everyday.

welcome! Make yourself at home. Love the app. Makes me even more accountable.

A Brit is canada here! Just added you as a friend. Good luck with the upcoming wedding.

I made a vegetarian lasagna and salad

I'm a Brit (Lancashire) here, but living in Canada, does that still count :-)

Double post, sorry

WOW!! That's incredible. I've been worried about giving zumba a go because I'm so uncoordinated, but I've find a local $5 class so I'm going to give it a try now!

TFS. Husband loves pancakes but our previous recipe was a nutritional nightmare.

thanks for sharing, it looks delicious.

I have heard glowing recommendations for Shock Absorber too. I currently wear two and sweat like a guy. It's so uncomfortable.

Love cycling. Recently started riding again after being hit by a car and losing my nerve. I live in a pretty hilly area too and it's all kinds of challenging. In dire need of a new road bike. I'm riding DH's old Devinci at the moment and it's too small. I look a bit like a bear on a bicycle.

This isn't your last resort, this is the first step. A huge, hard step! We're all here to support each other. Just take it one day at a time and love yourself first.

I regularly make the Simple Seitan from Veganomicon. You can find it here http://www.theppk.com/2009/11/homemade-seitan/ I have to book and it doesn't have lemon juice in the recipe so I have never included it. There is another great recipe for veggie lunch "meat" on Vegan Dad. It's not seitan but it's delicious.…

Ontario. Just moved to Barrie from Mississauga. Doesn't everyone make fun of Barrie for being cold? I want that cool now!

Sounds great VeganDeeva

I just tried out this recipe from a pilates magazine. Yum! Can be made with white beans, chick peas, black beans.. I first had it with chick peas and it was delicious but has since made with white kidney beans and it's also great. They are a bit carb heavy as you can imagine but I serve without a bun and lettuce / tomato…

I'm a newbie to MFP. I've been vegetarian for about 9 years. I was one as a teenager and for some reason started eating meat again for a few year. I also eat a lot of vegan meals. Always looking for new ideas and recipes!!
