Looking at the guy who supposedly does it - I can believe that it is all he does to be honest. A good all over body weights programme is likely to be more effective though, but the main piece of the jigsaw is nutrition. He needs to eat enough to get bigger.

I have to disagree with the boat load of 'if he doesn't like you overweight...'comments. That is complete bull - if you want to change yourself to look better, you can't call people shallow when they find you more attractive. I could not be with someone who I did not find physically attractive, no matter how much of a…

I think you may find that your standards will evolve over time, and where as now you seem as if you have little confidence (not a slight, just an observation), as you lose weight you will most likely gain a bucket load and someone who you choose to date now may turn into someone who you feel you can do better than and…

So you are saying that the US has all the resources it needs, there is no point expanding it's pool - in which case why bother recruiting any more? The only difference is you would open the registration up to a wider group of people, thus meaning you have a greater selection to pick the finest from. Yes it would disrupt at…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine_Corps_Physical_Fitness_Test Different standards for men vs women. Equality = equality. I feel the same about all professions. If you can do the job, go for it, but no one should get a leg up because they are a specific gender. Positive discrimination is not positive...

Football (Soccer of course). Train once a week and league/cup matches on a Saturday. It impacts my weights but I wouldn't give it up

There are hundreds of factors - how well you've been sleeping, what else you've been doing that may have fatigued (maybe without really noticing), stress or anything on your mind for that matter (which can also affect sleep etc) and plenty of other things. Nutrition is just one but to suggest that eating appropriate foods…

Course it matters - if you were to eat a lot of fast release carbs earlier on in the day, then come weights time you would be in an energy lull and perform worse.
-
Course it matters - just like it matters when you take in carbs and what exactly they are.

Afterwards is most important. It's good to keep your body with a steady flow throughout the day though as well and bear in mind when you sleep that's like 8 hours with no nutrition so I tend to have Casein before bed and then a normal protein shake in the morning when I wake up. Also apparently pre workout - so like 30-60…

Clearly free weights are far superior. That being said - whilst it is ideal that you would start on the free weights from day one with perfect form and a perfect routine. That won't happen though, so if you feel a bit more comfortable using the machines at first then that's a fine way to start. Maybe get your routine set…

Haha ALLLLL credit to Reg Park

An excellent routine is the 5x5 routine which has different ways but an ideal starter version is based on 3 workouts a week and is below. FYI - 5x5 means 5 sets of 5. 2x5 would be 2 sets of 5 etc. You do 2 sets as warm ups then go into 3 proper or "Stabilizer" sets. 1st set is at 60% of your stabilizerset weight 2nd set is…

You'll find you will lose size as the fat is lost but that you are left with muscle underneath, not skin fat and bones.

Yea, that's kind of what I was thinking to be honest - I already have 200mg caffeine tablets so was wondering if they are just packaging up a caffeine boost as something better. What do you know about dosage of BCAAs and AAKG? In this is't 5g BCAA and 3g AAKG AAKG seems about half what I'd expect as a beneficial dose and…

This is not the way this post should have gone. First you ask the question - then people respond with the explanation - then people respond saying that they never eat exercise calories back because it's voodoo - then OP gets mad and defensive (And also still doesn't understand the calculations involved) and an argument…

Which is exactly why I train awesome...

Sorry, when I said 'you' I was pointing just past you to the person behind you. For the loch ness monster a diet of high calorie foods combined with a tube around the neck should be just fine.

Apart from Rasberry Ketones - everyone knows those and Acai berries work...

I can still sell you a magic smoothie recipe if you'd like... *any results experienced from drinking said smoothie are totally coincidental*

I don't think kids think about it that much that they really need more of an answer. What you've said is enough.

Maybe you misinterpreted what a 'spin' class is? It would explain the dizziness, definitely.

He was probably (read almost certainly) on the juice for Batman, but probably not for Warrior. Achievable, but probably not in a year unless you dedicate your life to it. Maybe 3 years if you really get it right.

Oh, and meatloaf is, what?...meat, bread and tomato? So just use meat and tomato, cos...hey, 2 out of 3 ain't bad....:glasses:
-
Yes. Yes it is. What is not okay is the addition of water to plump it up, chemicals to alter taste/colour etc or preservatives. Mincing meat does not alter it in those ways.

craigslist etc. no need to get new.

as people have said- what you're talking about is wanting a bit more muscle. Simple way to do it is to eat more as people have said. It will be hard at first, but gently increase to an appropriate amount (which you can find at any number of TDEE calculators). As mentioned above - 5x5 is a decent starter package -…
