Eat more, especially earlier in the day. Brush your teeth. Read, find a hobby that would keep your hands busy, watch tv. Unless those are food eating 'triggers'. Only eat healthy stuff after dinner. How about some fruit or yogurt? Prelog food. Plan your diary so that you have cals leftover in the evening. Tell yourself…

I lost 40lbs just by walking an average of 3.8 miles per day from Jan to May 1st last year. Not that weight training isn't good, I do that too now, it's just that walking keeps you in a 'fat burning' zone more than other exercises do.

Yeah, why wouldn't it?

If I really feel unwell, I don't workout. If its a stuffy nose, working out actually opens up your sinuses and makes it easier to breathe.

Almond encrusted orange roughy with brown & wild rice, grilled red, yellow & orange peppers and onions.

I don't ever want to see you again, you no longer exist and you are out of my life.

Yes, I still eat prime rib and stay this thin. I ran for an hour, I ran 7 miles, walked 12 miles, etc. My pants wont stay up. Yes, I said to pick up some bacon. God I love bacon.. Let me get my run in first, then we can go. Yes, I'm walking/running/biking another 1,000 miles again. I'm not on a diet.

Honey Boo Boo's mama needs this.

Steak kabobs made with top sirloin, mushrooms, red, yellow and orange bell peppers and sweet onions. I eat that with brown rice cooked in broth. I make my own marinade of Worcestershire sauce, garlic, a bit of sweet chili sauce, low sodium soy sauce and a bit of olive oil. You can also make that with chicken, pork or…

This was me, before I lost weight... Yeah, we should allow others to take pics of us so they have some of us when we are dead and gone because we ate ourselves to death. Just because we are fat, it doesn't mean it's OK. Get off your butts, go for a walk and eat healthy today. You'll be glad that you have 'before'…

Congrats! You should be proud of yourself, you look awesome!

I do it all the time, usually by walking/running and weight lifting. A 30 minute run/jog with a 30 minute walk always gets me close or over 500 cals. Add lifting 3 times a week and I easily top 600-700. I only eat exercise calories if I'm hungry. Ill also add that I weigh less than 150, I'm 5ft 3 and I use a Polar FT4 HRM.

Yay for you! Congratulations!

Do a search here in the forums. Just last week I ended up with 6lbs of raw almonds and I was given a ton of ideas. So far, besides just eating them plain, I've made almond butter and tomorrow I'm making almond crusted fish fillets. I loveee almonds!

Speaking from experience, I burned a LOT more calories when I was heavier. Whether it was walking, biking, swimming or water aerobics. It takes more effort to move something that is heavier, plus your body gets hot faster. Even now, according to my HRM, I burn a LOT more calories if it's hot out, compared to a cooler day.…

Add SERIOUSLY to that list. Has seriously replaced the word really? Does literally mean that they really did something? Emphasis makes them feel like someone is listening, I guess. Idk. loll

I hope you're kidding.

Yes. At first I just started logging to 'see' where I was at, calorie-wise. Was mortified at the number of cals. Was mortified at how little of the crap I was eating, that I could eat, to stay under my cals. Started researching the forums for breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas. Was mortified by the amount of processed crap…

Something else you could do is to take a self-defense class. After reading your post, I think I will!

IF you do decide to go back out there, I found some pepper spray at Bass Pro Shops that fits inside your hand, with your fingers through a velcro strap. All you have to do is a quick flip of the nozzle and spray within seconds. I think it was under $10.00. If you ever run into the creep again, dont talk to him at all, but…

Eat whenever you feel like it. I can't eat before I workout or I'd be throwing up all over the gym... Afterwards, as in a hour or so, I'm hungry anyway, so that's when I eat. Do what works for you!

Obviously nagging won't work, just like it wouldn't work for us when we were 'fat' and not as healthy. What finally worked at my house was that when they noticed my progress, they started to pay attention to what I was doing and what I was eating. My husband finally joined me and lost 25lbs himself, but had surgery on his…

Trust your instincts! See a Dr and find out what is causing it. It sounds like your workout is a little intense, especially if you're just starting out. Maybe you need to walk, bike or swim some of the weight off before doing Crossfit? They wont say that because they want your money. Get a Dr.'s opinion before you tear it…

This! Congrats!

I feel your pain. I'm 51 and looked VERY pregnant and wasn't. What made it worse is that I look a lot younger than my grey haired husband, so I got a lot of stares even if they didn't say anything. Like he was an old guy, I had a sugar daddy, and heck, I don't know, they just made me feel uncomfortable even though I really…

To this list I shall add... axe for ask and excape for escape!

People at the gym, on the treadmill, walking fast or 'running' but holding on for dear life. I really fear walking behind them! I've been going there for less than 2 weeks now and already saw a person doing that, fall. If they would just walk at a speed they can handle, their balance would improve and so would their…
