Very interesting... thanks for sharing. What does HCG stand for?

Thanks for passing this on!

Way to go!!! You're looking great!

Drink a whole lot of water, and really monitor your sodium intake. Good luck!

Check out the Twinkie diet (google, or even check this site- it's been a popular topic the last couple of days). Apparently, at least for some people, it doesn't matter at all!

Wow, you look great! You don't even need to lose the last 25!
-
That's an awesome attitude. You will do this!!!!

My husband has the same height and weight as you, and the same body shape, it sounds like. He's been working out. You could try eating only half of your workout calories. Often the workout calories listed are higher than you actually burn. Also, try changing your workout significantly- something totally new. Don't worry-…

Yumm! That looks great. Thanks!

People have already given some good advice, but get your thyroid checked right away. Things that can slow weight loss include low metabolism (thyroid, and/or not eating enough), stress (body doesn't want to let go of any fuel (fat) when it's in panic mode), or eating more calories than you're burning. Good luck, and don't…

There's a good book that outlines a similar philosophy, with lots of studies to support it. It's called Body By Science. You may want to check it out :)

Yay!! Good work. I can definitely see a difference- your face, neck and chest are are smaller (your breasts sit much higher), and your shoulders are less round. Your stomach looks a bit flatter too.

You look great!!!! Good job!!!!

Whatever you do, don't panic! One day (one binge) is not the end of the world. Really. It's what you do most days that count. You're probably still hungry because your insulin levels are really high right now. Have some green tea, or lots of water, or try to exercise. Or something really high in fiber would be good too.…

I'm having the same problem! I'm going to eat less sugar, and change up my workout a bit more, and see if that helps. I'm reluctant to decrease calories because I don't want my metabolism to crash. I'd love to hear other people's ideas too.

Sure, I could use the occasional 'way to go', and will do the same for you! I'll send a request:smile:

You're doing all the right things- just keep going! I have PCOS too, and it does take longer to lose weight. I can lose 1-2 pounds per week, at 1200 calories, with exercise. Be patient and keep at it! Good luck!!!

My favorite low cal hunger busters are chicken (or vegetable) broth, and green tea. Also, fibre can fill you up- a drink of metamucil? Good luck!

You can do it!!! Sometimes life gets in the way for awhile, but just start again, a day at a time. When you start seeing results again you'll feel better :)

I take thyroid meds, and have found that I need to exercise more than my friends to keep my metabolism up. You may lose weight a bit more slowly, but can still lose a lot over time. If you build up your muscles with some weight training, it'll increase your metabolism a little, as the extra muscle burns extra calories.…

We all have good days and bad days... Tomorrow might be better. When I feel really hungry, a nice hot cup of green tea really helps, and it's soothing too. I find it's easier if you don't look at the big picture (ie/ I have sooo much more to lose, etc). Taking it a day at a time helps. Maybe instead of feeling guilty on…

If you enter Strength training under the cardio exercises section you can enter your calories burned :)

I like to do the same thing:). I also like to try bites of what my family ordered when we eat out. I try to estimate calories (really approximate) and use the 'quick calories' to add it in. That way you can see how many calories you have left, and you won't go over as often.

It does happen sometimes. And it is really hard. But you know what? It's just one week in your life, and you have the power to make the next one go better. How did I deal with it? I complained a lot, but I stuck with the program, and the next week I lost! You'll do it, just stick with the big picture.

Hello! I want to lose a total of 80 pounds. I started in July, and have lost 17 pounds so far, so 63 to go. This website really does work. Some days are challenging, but entering your calories really does make you feel more accountable, and I've learned a lot about which foods really use up the calories quickly. It really…

It's really hard not to obsess- I'm doing this with a friend, and both of us have been a bit obsessive... One thing that helps is trying to eat roughly the same thing for one of your meals each day (e.g. I have the same thing for breakfast most days). That way, for at least one meal, you can relax, knowing you're having a…

You can make homemade weights re-using large plastic milk containers, and filling them part way with water, sand or rocks. If you have a backpack, you can put something heavy in it (books) and carry it when you walk to burn extra calories. And like others have mentioned, you can do a lot of exercises that just use your own…

Sometimes your body retains water if you aren't drinking enough fluids...
