I take calcium-magnesium supplements and it seems to help. Good luck!

Have a cheat day once per week. That has kept me going for months. Good luck!

You're not 'weak'- your co-worker is ridiculous! Good for you for finding workout time with such a busy schedule!

Like everyone has said, oatmeal! You could increase your fiber. Also, you could take omega 3's- the good fats.

I've had some really long plateaus. So far, 2 different things have worked (not at the same time): 1. take a week off of exercise 2. eliminate sugar/wheat/dairy for a week. Different things will work for different people, but you may want to try one of these ideas. Good luck, and don't give up!

I agree with ejmcam. The smaller goals are important- they have kept me going. But I don't have a final weight chosen- I'm just going to see how it goes, and see how I feel.

Thanks for the great idea!

Another option, besides whole grain, is Catelli Smart pasta. It has a lot of inulin fiber in it, so it doesn't spike your insulin as much as regular pasta, but it tastes and looks the same as regular pasta. I love it! You could also try Miracle noodles- I haven't tried them yet, but have heard they're good, and pretty much…

I don't know what your settings are, but to give you some comparison, I eat a 1300 calorie diet: 179 carbs, 36 fat, and 65 protein. I did tweak my percentages to reduce carbs, and increase protein. Hope that helps :)

Wow!!! You look great. Congratulations!

I don't think it's normal. Maybe you should get it checked out.

The type of fat in coconut oil is more easily used as fuel for the body (medium-chain triglycerides instead of long-chain). Supposedly it is good for you (in moderation). The less processed (look for virgin oil) has a nice very mild coconut taste. It's really good for baking.

Soooo funny!!! Very true!

Wow!!! You look so great! Congratulations!

You can do it! Some people like to set up a written schedule, then follow it. Some people like to try one small change per week (e.g. oatmeal for breakfast, or one workout). Others like to give themselves small rewards when they reach a small goal. Some people find success by following a set meal plan, with recipes. Yes…

Be cautious about eating more calories- I tried it for 2 weeks (along with good workouts, both cardio and strength training), and gained 5 pounds. It's 4 weeks later, and I'm still trying to lose the 5 pounds! Maybe just try it for a week. Plateaus are hell! Good luck!

Maybe it's a premenstrual thing?

I exercise at least 6 hours per week, and eat 1200 to 1400 calories per day, and in the last 4 months have only lost 10 pounds (but 20 before that for a total of 30 pounds lost). YOU ARE DOING GREAT :) !!!! I'd say give up the pop- it is really bad for spiking your insulin, and making your body hold onto fat. Good luck :)

Experiment a bit, and do what works for you and your body. I exercise a lot, and eat a low calorie diet. I don't lose any weight when I eat all my exercise calories. Everyone's different :)
-
Good luck! You'll do it. I've found it helpful to have short term goals, when I allow myself a 'treat' (a weekend away, some new clothes, etc.)
-
Thanks for all the great ideas everyone! I've done about half my calories worth of exercises with various ab exercises (yes, planks are hard!), some couch stretching, and some squat jumps. Back to it!

Taking a calcium supplement before bed can help with sleep...

Any fruits or vegetables are great- they are mostly carbs, but healthy ones. The carb percentage on this site is really high. You can change your carb/fat/protein percentages (add more protein than fat though), and still be eating a healthy diet.

I just tried a new kind yesterday, and it instantly became my favorite- Lindt dark chocolate with sea salt. Sounds weird, right? But it's only a little bit salty, and the salt really really intensifies the flavour! mmmm

You just have to enter it under cardio :)

I just love your poster!!!!! Thanks for sharing :)

Hi there! Welcome! I have PCOS too, and my son is now 5 years old (Yay!). Exercise, exercise, exercise is what helped me get pregnant. I've got around 30 more pounds to lose (lost about 30 since starting on this site in the summer). Good luck :)

Congratulations- you're looking great- you really notice it in your face, waist, and legs. Good job!

Sounds good. How do you start and continue a group?

Just ask yourself if it's worth it. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. I love cake- I'd probably eat it only if it was a really delicious looking cake.
