Egypt Central, LOVE IT! Amazing workout music, and not really a well-known band. As for mine, I like metal when I workout. Lots of songs by In Flames, Trivium, etc. #1 Pump song of all for me is Trivium - Into the Mouth of Hell, We March... but the best part is ~2:00 into the song so I've learned to time it.

The right shoe and the right insert was the only thing that really helped me. Boulder Running Company hooked me up... especially since it took us eight trips to the treadmill with different shoes, they were very patient. Ended up with the New Balance 1012 which are like OVERKILL motion control for severe overpronation.

Search on Google for a "RMR" or "BMR" calculator. At 80 kg (176 lbs) I'd imagine yours is higher than 1200 calories.
