I like it when a wrong spelling is so common that people 'correct' me when I'm the only one in the room getting it right. That's my favourite

A not so obvious reason: I started getting that and the time between them got longer and longer. Turns out I have PCOS.

Agreed! We have people with all sorts of criteria: people looking for female / male friends, tall friends, friends with over 100lbs to lose, friends on maintenance, friends in certain countries / areas etc. etc. I don't know why if it's religion or lack thereof that's specified it starts a s***storm.

I'm both :/

I know right? The girls products were so cute. The boys were really crappy. Although living in a holiday resort I see what tat tourists will buy.

I wouldn't say it matters as long as you do it the same time each day / week / whatever. If you choose morning, stick to the morning for each WI as your weight can change over the day and you'll get mixed results.

I do feel like a parrot sometimes. I don't comment on everything but I always comment on weight loss because I genuinely am pleased for my friends and I like to congratulate them. However, it probably sounds a little insincere because I use the same phrases all the time 'sweet' , 'nice one', 'well done' etc. I have about…

1974 - David Peace (book 1 of the Red Riding quartet). Very good so far, harsh and brutal but very well written.

Just been looking at some quotes from last year, this made me laugh all over again: Vincent to dog-owner during filming of his pet food commercial: “Can we have the dog on all fours?” Dog owner: “On all fours?” Vincent: “You know, on all fours, rather than sitting down.” Dog owner: “Do you mean standing up?” Vincent:…

Another fan here, I love this show so much. How many wankers can you fit in a boardroom?! I particularly love the wee taglines they give themselves in the 'about me' bit. Or should that be the 'me me me it's all about me' bit. My personal favourite cringe inducing one from last series: 'Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit…

Flats. Gladiator style sandals make my legs look shorter, which isn't the look I'm going for but for you I guess it's a solution.

Yep, makes perfect sense

I have 50g dry weight which is about 180 cals. I'd say it's slightly smaller than an average portion but it's enough with the sauce. Hope this helps. ETA: I have it with meat sauce and parmesan so the overall cals is about 450-500.

I think he's probably giving Jamie a lift home. Relax a bit, you're calling him an *kitten* before you even have reason to. Unless there's more to this than you're saying and you have reason to mistrust him, chill out and make sure you're not in the same frame of mind when he comes home or he may just go right back out…

NEVER: Seafood (yuck, fish is OK but the little things like prawns, mussels etc.are vile) Frozen ready meals (now and again I will buy one for convenience... then remember why I don't buy them more often... disgusting!!) RARELY: Alcohol (not worth the calories except on occasions) Bread (not a huge fan of bread apart from…

I have logged less than 30 mins when I tried the 30DS. To me it was a lot harder than an hour of something else. My usual exercise is walking though and I only log it if it's 30 mins or over AND if it's over what I would normally do in a day e.g. I don't log walking to the shop etc. which is probably a 30 minute round trip…

My belly and my hair: I have a very flabby belly with a bit of loose skin, but I guess that's the price of losing a lot of weight, I'd rather have the flabby belly than the whole body of fat I used to have. And my hair is very thin due to a medical condition, this bothers me the most because I feel like even now I've lost…

Well done everyone  Have a great week x

I think if you ask people who weigh themselves morning and night (like me) you'll find most people weigh more at night so you probably have lost some. I weigh 2lbs more at night than in the morning.

I'd vote 'active'. You're on your feet a lot, moving about and lifting things 6 days a week. Mine is set at 'lightly active', I'm a housekeeper but only part time and I spend a lot of spare time doing not much. It seems to work for me so I think you should be set at 'active' at least.

Yep, you look a lot more toned. It looks like more than 8lbs loss so that's a bonus

Not odd at all, I remember it well and I was jumping for joy. Well done and keep at it, next stop 'normal' (for want of a better word) xxx
