I am ending week 2 (do the Fit Test tomorrow)! Shaun T does kick your butt, but I am seeing improvement in my ability to keep up with him already. I won't know my official measurements until tomorrow after my Fit Test, but I can see some more definition in my abs and my arms! Feel free to add me if you want! Always looking…

I am another advocate for the Fitbit One. I love mine! People say that it is easy to lose or misplace but I have had no problems so far. I go hiking several times a week and it always stays securely clipped to my waistband. I used to have the Zip but I upgraded to the One in January. The only difference between the One and…

The Fitbit is just a pedometer. It doesn't measure heart rate.

I have a Fitbit... have had it since December 2012. It keeps me motivated to get walking; especially when you can add friends on their site and compete with them all. It also syncs with MFP. I used to have the Zip, but I upgrade to the One in January. I love my One. The Zip is around $50 and the $100. The only difference…

I love my Fitbit. I got the One back in December, but I had the Zip before that. They pretty much do the same thing except the Zip doesn't track sleep or stairs climbed. Fitbit syncs with MFP, so the calories will update on here. You can also add people on there and compete with them. That's my favorite part.... I have a…

No one has an suggestions?!

I am 25, but people have thought I was anywhere from 13 to 18. No one believes that am old enough to order alcohol. The first time I got alcohol when I was 21, the waitress looked at me with a look that clearly said that she didn't believe I was older than 21. Yea, I got carded then... and I still get carded. Wait staff…

Some of my tips have probably already been mentioned, but it won't hurt to mention them again. Here is my advice. If you're going to a chain restaurant you can usually get the nutritional information of all their dishes and plan your meal before you even get to the restaurant. If you go in with a plan, you are less likely…

I have a low calorie cookbook (1,001 Low-fat Recipes by Sue Splitler) and found this pizza recipe in it. It's AMAZING and so much better than any of the chain pizza places around (not to mention, much more healthy). It's a little time consuming because you have to make everything from scratch (takes me about an hour to…

I did the 30 day shred at the beginning of last year. I then alternated between her killer buns and thighs and killer abs for about three to four weeks before moving on to her ripped in 30. Here are my results from all of that. This was between January 13th to April 7th. After that, I alternated between her various…

I chew gum between meals. I do this to see whether I am actually hungry or if my mouth just needs something to chew on. Most of the time, I'm not even hungry, my mouth just wants something to chew on for awhile.

I tried slim fast a couple years ago (2009) and it worked for me; I lost about 30 pounds in nine months. I didn't follow the complete plan though. I only drank one shake a day (for breakfast) and only had one of their meal bar three days a week. I only did that because I was in class from 10 to 3 and had NO time to…

I love Jillian Michaels! I've been doing her workout DVDs since January and I have gone from a size 10 to a size 4/6 (depending the brand). She is amazing! I actually started with her 30 day shred because I had very little experience with working out like that. Before, I had just been walking on a treadmill and using an…

Yea, it's changed a lot since I began playing it back in 2003. I sometimes get on there when I'm super bored just to see what's new.

I didn't watch many horror movies as I kid. I wasn't interested... in fact, I'm still not interested. The Nightmare King in Little Nemo scared the crap out of me when I was younger though. I couldn't even watch it alone; my mom or dad had to be in the room with me when he showed up.

I did it back in January/February and I had great results! I lost several inches in my waist (3 in.), hips (4 in.). thighs (3 in.) and I lost 5.4 pounds. Plus, I went from a size 10 to a size 8! Since then, I have been doing her "Ripped in 30" and "Extreme Shed and Shred" and doing the "30 Day Shred" again and I've gone…

I have an HTC Evo and I love it! I have Sprint as my provider and I've never had a problem. My boyfriend has ATT and sometimes I'll have all five bars and he'll have none.

Hahaha! It's funny you should mention that. I did have a Richard Simmons VHS tape (it was my mom's) when I was younger. I ended up giving it to a classmate when we did a White Elephant gift exchange in middle school; yea, he hated me after that! Thank you for all the suggestions!

At my biggest (which was like five years ago, before I joined MFP), I was 184 lbs; I wore mediums in shirts and size 14 pants. I was 164 lbs when I joined MFP (January 2012), I was still wearing a medium in shirts, but I was wearing a 10 in pants. I'm currently 146 lbs; I wear a size small or x-small in shirts and a 4-6 in…

I have the Fitbit Zip (smaller and cheaper than the Fitbit one; plus, you don't get the sleep tracker or stair climber), but I still LOVE it. I don't how the others are, but you can join Fitbit's website (for free) and add friends and compete with them to see who has the most steps! I find that to be very motivating to get…

I was actually looking for something like this for a long awhile, but finally gave up and that's why I thought I just looked for shorts with pockets instead! This will work so much better since I just bought a few new pair of shorts because my old ones were too big. Thanks so much!

Wow! Thanks for all of the suggestions. @WannaDizzolve: Ha.. yes, I know shoes and sports bras are important! I won't skimp on those at all. @Cina04: Well, I'm not looking for dirt cheap stuff, just stuff that costs less that $45 per piece. Something within the $20 to $30 price range is what I am looking for.

Measuring isn't that inconvenient. It takes me like five minutes to serve out one serving portion of everything that I am eating. As for logging when you are in a restaurant, here's what I suggest: If you're going to a chain restaurant you can usually get the nutritional information of all their dishes and plan your meal…

I love them too, but I really love their divine filled chocolates with the peanut butter. Those things are addicting!
-
Wow! The amount of change your body went through in just two/three months is pretty incredible! :) You look great!

My boyfriend loves going there, so we go quite a bit. I actually can't stand most of their stuff (don't like coffee), so I always get their hot chocolate. I get the tall size with skim milk and no cream. It's only 190 calories and tastes really good. Honestly, as long as you're not going there everyday, I don't see…

I did the 30 day shred back in January/February. I'm currently do her ripped in 30 workout, but you can add me if you want. :)

I absolutely love the oven roasted chicken with provolone or America cheese. I get it toasted because then it tastes really yummy. I get a six inch (unless I need lunch the next day then I'll get a foot long and eat the second half for lunch the next day) on Italian bread. As for toppings, I only get lettuce, pickles,…

Yea, I have an HTC Evo and it doesn't sync with my phone either, so i just sync it from my computer and it works just fine for me. I think they are working on getting it to sync with more phones though.

I had an Omron pedometer for the longest time (which I liked) before I got my fitibt, but I really like the fitbit a lot better. The fitbit is pretty much just a pedometer. It counts steps, calories burned, stairs climbed (if you have the fitbit one) and miles walked per day. You can also transfer the data onto their…
