As long as your doctor is fine with you beginning a workout regime, walking is great and free. I have allowed myself to become sedentary as well, but I went on a 45 minute walk today. Good luck.

You look fantastic! Congratulations!

You look great! Well done!

Wow! Amazing!

Great job!

I can tell you that for me it's about over consuming it. I truly believe that moderation is key but, if I have sugary foods in the house, I eat too much of them.

Wow. What an amazing story. You look great. I also love your sense of humor :).

Wow. This is really inspiring. You look fabulous. I started around 165 at 5'5''. I'm now 148lbs but my goal is 130. Here's to hoping I can make my goal and maintain ;).

Response to sexforjaffaca, I read it as a sarcastic response because the OP was apparently hoping of an easier way to burn that amount of calories. Not sure why it didn't quote you're post.

I think walking is great. Quite honestly, I lost over 20 pounds back in 2008 just by cutting out all meat except fish. I ended up gaining it all back plus some when I started eating meat again. Now I'm eating healthier and walking at least 4-5 days a week and have begun to do some weights. So far I've lost 15lbs and have…

You look amazing, and my what I would give to have a butt (and stomach) that looked like that! You go girl!
-
No way! You look amazing!

I was just about to say this. I had no issues getting to 1200 UNTIL I'm actually counting my calories and then for some reason I was only getting like 1050. I'm finally getting the hang of it. I love avocado and walnuts for some added calories but that are also healthy!

I'm pretty sure my diary is hidden. I like it that way. I don't want to be judged ;).

Honestly, I've been huge on eating out since I was 18 or so. I made it a bad habit and used to spend hundreds of dollars a month on eating out. I have not completely cut it out, but now bring my lunch to work and eat dinner at home. It's really hard to eat healthy eating out. I would cut it out slowly. Maybe eat at home…

Thank you so much for the information and sharing that website. It's awesome!

Okay, so what about the Kashi dark mocha almond granola bars? I know they're processed but are they really bad for you?

I don't eat PB often but my Dh loves it and loves the Smuckers Organic. He can't stand the ones that contain palm fruit oil. He really just wants one with only peanuts and maybe a tad of salt if that.

I started at around 164 back in January. I took a break for some unknown reason so my weight loss should be more. BUT, I've lost around 13-14 lbs and am looking to lose another 15-20.

The only fast food place we go to is Chick-fil-a. We have been there a lot but don't go every week or anything.

I made this last night with green peppers, Boar's head honey maple turkey, red onions and a little bit of cheddar cheese on top. It was FANTASTIC. It is a tad watery, though.

You look absolutely amazing. Congrats.

My husband loves the Organic Smuckers creamy PB.

I usually pack a very random lunch as I'm in a hurry because I don't plan head of time. Today I had grapes, carrots and Pero sweet mini peppers. It held me over until about 6PM.

Well, I'm a size 12 and 154lbs and wouldn't be caught dead in one. If my tummy were flatter and the love handles and back flab were gone and my thighs were smaller, then maybe.

I've known for a while and just did nothing about it. Actually, back in 2008, I was down to 140lbs but since I didn't make it a lifestyle change, the weight came back.
-
I loved reading your post. I'd sure say 250 pounds lost is not a failure. It sounds like pure success to me. Congrats!!!

I just started this month ;). SW: 167 CW: 161 GW: 130 would be wonderful but anything under 140, I'll be ecstatic ;).

I have found it difficult to get to 1200 calories a day. I feel full and am eating breakfast, lunch and dinner along with having a mid-morning snack and afternoon snack. I'm just trying to eat healthy.
