  • Right there with you. We live like 3 miles apart! I am hitting the grocery store tomorrow and thinking fruit cups, apples, bananas and crackers, stuff like that. Of course you could get all fancy and light up the gas grill with some zucchini, mushrooms, mmm.... Not that I will be getting that fancy but hey, we could. :)
  • Sounds like you made really good choices though. Definitely don't beat yourself up.
  • Agree, it is lifechanging in so many ways! Yes the hardest workout I have ever done and it took weeks to develop a love of Crossfit through the pain but I am now 6 weeks in and starting to see the results, dropping inches, building muscle and seeing so much progress in what I am able to do in class. I LOVE, LOVE it. Kinda…
  • I also need to pop in on this one, with my first 8 years ago I couldn't keep the weight on me while I nursed her that first year. I dropped 60 pounds in 6 months but now years later, I am nursing my second one and no matter what I do... the scale doesn't budge. It sucks and it's very frustrating. I just hope it is true and…
  • Thanks for the friending. I love Crossfit too and hoping from some serious results. Those workouts are the hardest I've ever done!
  • I just finished my On Ramp and did my first real workout on July 8th and I LOVE it. Although, I have to admit there are a few weeks of pure misery to get past first. Very sore muscles and serious personal doubts It is unlike any other fitness program I have ever done, very intense but everyone is so supportive. I am amazed…
  • WOW that is amazing! I just pegged mine at 300 today for the sake of logging it but I will get a monitor. I know it kicks my butt and I am sweating after the warm up most of the time.
  • Oh... I love Crossfit too and highly recommend the workouts. I have only been going for 3 weeks but already feel so much better on a daily basis. Fast results for sure!
  • Thanks for the tip, on average what are you seeing for calories burned? I need to get a monitor. I am loving it too. I started a month ago and I think I am addicted!

  • Oh my gosh, that is amazing! I have to tell you (yes this is true!!) I didn't find out I was pregnant with my last one until 21 weeks along. YES 21 weeks and I lost 15 pounds during those first 5 months of pregnancy through diet, exercise and Weight Watchers. I went on to gain a little over 20 pounds during the 2nd half of…
  • I am nursing my 10 month old and have only lost 1 pound in a few weeks. Wtih my first I lost 50 pounds in a few months and couldn't keep the weight on. I think that nursing each child is different and your body will be stubborn and hang on to what it "thinks" it needs. If someone figures out how to overcome this, I'd love…
  • I am nursing my 10 month old and that is how I set mine up, I increased my activity level so my daily calories were higher. Some others on here though, I've seen will add Breastfeeding as an exercise and it will add 500 calories to your balance. Because my baby is much older, I thought that was too much for me but you…
  • Welcome, I've only been here for just a few weeks as well but I've come to really count on MFP for the support and amazing people. Please friend me as well if you'd like.
  • I'd like to join a nursing mothers group too. I just joined MFP today because I cannot get my weight to budge. My baby is 9 months old. With my first daughter I nursed and just dropped the weight like crazy. This go around it's different. How many calories did everyone add to their daily intake. I added 300??
