There are tons of things you can eat besides just chicken breast. And even chicken breast you can cook in different ways so as not to get bored. I made a huge pot of quinoa and black bean chili last night and it's so good, all clean and healthy AND will last me thru the weekend. :)

Yes, I've done it twice. Great results. You can check my profile for pics. :-)

http://www.naturallymore.com/ I have used the peanut and almond butter. Both are awesome.

I vote for focusing on eating clean. I used to limit my calories to 1200 a day but was eating crap, processed food in the wrong proportions. It wasn't until I changed my diet to CLEAN eating that I dropped 20 pounds (with little difference in exercise). I work full-time and have two kids but still find time to eat clean.…

True to some extent. I followed the plan exactly and lost 11 pounds first round eating the full 1800 calories/day. I think it was a combination of changing WHAT I ate and in what proportions WITH the exercise and the fact that I was building muscle and accelerating my metabolism.

I used to eat them all the time. Gave me horrible stomach pain and I never lost weight. I changed my diet to "eating clean" and now I opt for chicken breast and a sweet potato or salad for lunch and I had MUCH greater success. I vote for staying away from them.

YES! It's amazing. Do the Lean version. Best nutrition plan ever too.
-
Do weights too! The more muscle on your body the higher your metabolism, which means you burn more calories 24 hours per day.
-
Sounds like you are working out a plan. But I would recommend making a chart/calendar with all your workouts written out so you can keep track and mark off each workout as you do it. That always helps me stay on track :-)

I'm doing an Eat Clean Challenge on Facebook right now and our rules are trying to stick to the top two tiers of this chart: http://teambeachbody.com/article-detail/-/popup/POPUP-PRINT-MICHIS-LADDER That's clean eating. :-)

The only thing I would say to those who don't believe it: when your weight loss stalls try increasing your calories by 100 or so each day until you start losing weight again. I used to "starve" myself at 1200 calories per day for MONTHS and it wasn't until I started eating 1800 or so of "clean" food that I lost 20 pounds…

My wagon is eating out and wine. I normally eat very clean, but when I go out to eat, I almost go a little crazy. But it normally only lasts one meal and then I'm immediately back on track.

Awesome. Best cardio program EVER!

Weigh yourself once a week. Just keep doing what you are doing. Weight fluctuates. It's normal. :-)
-
Not true! Build muscle and you WILL keep burning fat.

Hey there! I'm a mom of two as well with a full-time job. The only thing I can say is "just do it". There are lots of days I don't WANT to work out. But I just do it. I work out at home using DVD's (P90X first, now doing ChaLEAN Extreme) and do it before work and before my kids even get out of bed. It's just really not an…

I agree - instant oatmeal is NOT good for you. I buy the Quaker 1-Minute Oats, add some cinnamon and stevia and I'm good to go. No sugar and no sodium. Only 150 calories in 1/4 cup (measure before you cook) and 5 g protein!

Unfortunately you can't spot reduce fat. Just keep doing what you are doing and eventually it will come off. My last place to lose is thighs and stomach. Have you thought about adding some weight training? The more muscle you have on your body, the higher your metabolism, the more fat you burn. :-)

Feel free to check out my diary. That's been what I've been focusing on and have done pretty well! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/ElaineKatko?date=2011-04-28

No kidding. Do your own research and make your own decision.

If your goal is fat loss then TurboFire is the way to go. :)

I've done all three and I vote for P90X.

WOW, alot of Beachbody and Shakeology bashing. Interesting... Anyway, I'm happy to send you a sample of either flavor, just send me a PM. I personally happen to love it. But that's just me. :-)

I don't think it's generally healthy to only eat one "real" meal per day. I use protein powder as a high protein snack personally. BUT, if you are trying to up your calorie intake and that's all that you can manage to eat, it's better than nothing in the short term. JMHO. :-)

I would love to help! I'm going to send you a friend request now. :-)

One workout at a time, one meal at a time, one pound at a time, one day at a time. ~Chalene Johnson

I say, whatever works for you will work! Just do what you can, pause the DVD and go finish the rest when you can. The only issue I have is that you would need to re-warm-up before you start on the 2nd part. :-) And YES, you will need to up your calories. P90X has an amazing nutrition plan and the least amount of calories…

Everything I've ever read says YES, stop drinking diet soda. Here's a video that someone recommended to me - it's kind of long, but makes sense. http://youtu.be/hpoAtwVyzZI

I think those frozen meals are HORRIBLE! I used to live on them. And I NEVER lost weight and I had terrible stomach cramps most days. Don’t just track you’re the food you eat, track the INGREDIENTS of the foods you eat. For example, my old diet included: Instant oatmeal: whole grain rolled oats (with oat bran), sugar,…

I try to get at leat 40% of my calories from protein. Personally, I think that is KEY is achieving weight loss and keeping it off. :-)
