I sweat but about 6 months ago I decided to try aluminum free deodorant because I was tired of yellow pits and want to avoid the potential health risks. Since then I've actually noticed I sweat less in my underarms. Would you believe it.. not using an antiperspirant and I sweat LESS!! I actually read of a lot of people…

@Mono_monkey I've tried to do everything at once before and that's where I fail every time. Habits take time to build and you can't expect yourself to be perfect after years of doing stuff another way. My saving grace this time really is my FitBit... I look at it and it reminds me to make better decisions. Less snacking,…

@Veanna111 I know this month is mostly about rebuilding good habits. I've read it takes about 30 days to make/break a habit. Right now any day I get in the exercise is better than the not doing it before my restart. Any day I track is better than not tracking like before. Slow and steady, I'm not expecting any weight…

Thank you @DragonMeat and @Grumpy_Marmot . I just want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to make sure I'm healthy and happy. Right now I'm fighting with the immediate pleasure of sleeping in vs exercising and losing weight for the long term pleasure. That will be my next battle.

I have the FitBit flex and it only "real time" tracks Running, Walking and Hiking. Other exercises you have to track mannual as "previous" entries. Also to sucessfully link it with MyFitnessPal you only track sleeping, walking with the FitBit. Food, exercise and anything else you track on the MFP app. The information you…

@schillewis I don't hate my personality, my smile, my hair... ect I do hate my weight and my long list of excuses. I'm in a battle with both. Right now I'm doing leg lifts at my work desk while typing this. Excuse that I don't have enough time to exercise.. GONE! @lilMimi Thank you for the support!! I wish my job provided…

My moment, or should I say moments, are what have my back here and determined to lose the weight this time. First (and should have been only) was a few years ago trying to ride a crazy loop ride that required a harness that comes down around your body, couldn't push it down enough to click in the lock, the operator just…

It will be hard but with the right motivation and support you can do it. I have about 150 to lose and notice I am full of excuses. I just recently bought a fit bit and not only does it act as a step counter but having it on my wrist is a constant reminder that I need to track my calories and not to have that office…

Always looking for friends to help motivate one another. Finally decided enough is enough. Doing the Dr. Oz 3 day cleanse and I must say on day two I'm already feeling better. One more day to go then it's back to healthy habits for me.

Great job on taking the plunge to a healthier you!! As I'm not a nutritionist I can't tell you how much your intake should be but I agree with a few posts that you should just take a few weeks to religiously track what you regularly eat. It gives ou something to look at and figure out what needs tweaking. The hardest part…

Maybe see if you can keep the key and let him in when he comes home, that way you can take the kids for walks and that sort of thing. What about the apartment... Does it have a lot of stairs you can walk up and down? Use the 2 year old to your advantage and start lifting him like weights lol or encourage him to "exercise "…
