I'm on 1200 net calories/day and it's working wonders for me. I exercise daily and eat back most (if not all) of my exercise calories. This allows me to lose about 1 lb/week (sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less).

Generic Yaz (Gianvi). As of my last refill, Bayer (who makes Yaz) also manufactures Gianvi, so it's essentially the same thing.

I dropped from a (tight) 10 to a comfortable 8 after about 20 lbs. As it stands right now, I'm either a 6 or an 8 depending on how the garment is cut.

We have birthday cake once a month here at the office - there's a beautiful chocolate cake just sitting in the fridge. Luckily, Friday is my "cheat" day, so I plan on having a small slice as an afternoon treat.

The trainers and instructors at the gym I frequent also recommend chocolate milk as a recovery drink after an intense workout (keyword: intense).

I used ground turkey last week to make a stir-fry - I'm sure you could easily use ground chicken, too! Sauteed ground meat w/ a little bit of oil, mixed in some tofu, stir-fry sauce from Trader Joe's, veggies, and voila!

I love the Apple Pecan Chicken salad from Wendy's

I do what I love - I used to hate going to the gym because it was boring. I found my niche in group fitness classes over 2 years ago and I've been hooked ever since! I've torched calories, lost weight, and made amazing friends (who help keep me accountable!) in the process.

I do the same. I've also tried to keep unhealthy snacks out of the house to help avoid temptation.

Very true. I use it in combination w/ the Garmin FR70 HRM.

I have one and use it to track my runs & walks. It's fairly accurate once it's calibrated correctly.

Depends on the speed + intensity of the bikes. My "exercise of choice" is indoor cycling via cycling group fitness classes where I burn a ton of calories in a relatively short period of time (45-60 minutes). However, if you're talking about sitting on a recumbent bike and leisurely pedaling, I'd stick to the treadmill :)

I'm also a member of Life Time Fitness, and while I love the gym, I've stayed away from the "free diagnostic" due to the fact that it's rubbish. It's free for a reason - they're trying to get you to buy PT packages. Is the device they used accurate? To an extent. While I do believe that your breasts skewed the numbers,…

I do the same thing.

I second this. I've been participating in indoor cycling classes for over 2 years and it's been a integral part of my weight loss.
