  • I've been a roller derby athlete for about 4 years now. I can truly say it is the best thing in my life. To track my calories I have worn a HRM...the results are unbelievable! If you need any track advice let me know :) I'm so excited you have discovered this amazing sport!
  • I started having knee pain when I got into competitive roller derby. I now take a glucosamine supplement and have noticed a big difference :o)
  • I usually eat an apple and some cottage cheese. The apple brings my sugars back up from a tough workout and the cottage cheese has the protein to rebuild muscle tissue :o)
  • I usually make a fruit parfait: 3/4 cup frozen berries (thaw in microwave), 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (I sweeten mine with a packet of steevia because I find the taste pretty bitter), 1/4 cup all and 1/4 cup of kashi go lean cereal. If I am going to workout in the morning I will usually have 1/3 cup quick oats, 1/3 cup…
  • I wouldn't change being short for ANYTHING! I am 5'0 and my goal is 110 lbs (0.5 lb to go). I think I might strive for a little more but I would like to muscle up a bit too. Keep up the good work :o) Us shorties need to stick together!
