I'm in! The most i've lost in a month so far is 8 lbs, that was back in February. In March I didn't lose as much ( I know where I went wrong though). If I can lose 10 lbs or close to 10 lbs in April that would be awesome. I have a cruise that I am going on the first week in May, so perfect timing!

Body magic! It’s an undergarment that makes you look slimmer in your clothes. At one point, I had issues with wearing "my actual size" after I gained a lot of weight so I would wear the body magic so I can fit into my clothes...big no-no, the tight clothes and the undergarment was just too much and I don't think i looked…

I started the first week of January at 182, I am down to 170. I am still wearing the same size, but I am very pleased with the changes in my appearance, energy and fitness level.

I prefer to plan out my meals ahead of time because it helps me stay within my range, but on occassion I do end up adding the calories afterwards if I don't have time to plan ahead or if i'm just not sure what's on the menu.

Usually once a week, but I’m thinking of changing to every other week or once a month. The scale can really put me in a bad mood and can have a negative effect on my drive to push forward when it doesn't match how hard I’ve been working towards my weight loss goals. Fortunately the support on MFP has been amazing so…

^ This!! Your routine is very similiar to mine. I do a workout DVD in the morning before work and extra cardio in the evening after work, I've lost an average of 1.5 or so lbs a week since starting in late Jan., but to top it off, I feel GREAT since i've been more active and making healthier food choices. I also NEVER SKIP…

Yea, I had to bump it up a bit, a 1200 base wasn't quite working, even with eating back most/all exercise calories. There are days that I go over on purpose and on those days I have much more energy. Thanks for your input!

Hello, I joined this group because I am a fan of Jillian Michaels workout DVDs (she's tough, but I need that extra push). It is great to find a group that also feels the same way. I have gotten great results so far, and would love to connect with others to share experiences, feedback and motivational tips. 1) What are your…

I'm not quite done, but I only have a few days to go (I'm on the last level). I am really pleased with the results, and I am happy that I stuck with it. I did the workout at least 4-5 times a week in the mornings and cardio 3-4 times a week in the evening. I lost about 8lbs so far, and I'm sure some inches (but I didn't…

I'm on level 3/Day 3. I weigh in once a week on Wednesdays. I really wish that I would've taken measurements before I started because I do see a major difference especially in the waistline! Hopefully I'll get the guts to share my pictures at the end. My recommendation would be to also take measurements. I've seen posts…

Are you also working out? If you are, make sure that you are adding the calories burned from your workouts to your log and eat those back. 1200 calories for me is too low and leaves me feeling hungry most of the time and if I workout, I don't have energy to follow through with my routine. I overcome that by working out so…

I'll be 30 in less than two months and I have struggled with these extra 40+ pounds for the past 3 years! I have been very unhappy ever since I gained the weight, and instead of taking charge, I ate more unhealthy foods and portions. For a while I wasn't motivated to go shopping or to take pictures (two things that I love…

Spinning is definitely an effective workout! I am getting a HRM once I reach my first mini goal (10 lbs down) and I plan to add spinning classes to my mix twice a week at that time...looking forward to it!

You look amazing! Congrats on reaching your goal!!!! Job well done.

I turn 30 in April! One part of me is dreading it, it's hard to say good by to the 20's as so much (good and bad) has happened within the decade. Honestly, making this commitment to take better care of my body and making so many other postive changes in my life makes it so much easier for me to embrace my new 30's chapter…

I work out 5 days a week (double workouts). I am doing the 30 day shred in the mornings (6am), and I do cardio exercises in the evenings at my local gym. I like doing my workout video in the morning, because it is quick and intense and I find that I have lots more energy throughout the day and I notice it helps with stress…

I agree with the other posts, eating below 1200 calories is too low. I workout at least 5 times a week and eat back most of my exercise calories. Once or twice a week I have spike days which for me means that I eat at or above my BMR (whether I exercised or not), just making sure not to go over my maintenance calories. So…
