  • I keep Skinny Cow chocolates around for the sweet cravings and I love the Special K chip crackers for the salty crunchy cravings! They have sour cream and onion and you get 27 chips per serving so I feel like I am having a lot. I always plan for those cravings and try to keep a variety of substitutes around. Special K also…
  • I decided to lose weight because I hated having my pictures taken with my kids because I hated how I looked! Now after losing 52 lbs I don't mind. I also want to be able to take them to the pool this summer and not be so uncomfortable in front of people. I have about 20 lbs to go to reach my goal and I am really trying to…
  • I just bought a new one from Sears last month. Regular price was 2699 but I got it for 1799. They run pretty good sales. I LOVE my treadmill. It is a Nordic Track and has IFIT built in. You get IFIT for 1 year free when you buy the treadmill. I have a 10" screen on mine and it connects to internet via WIFI. I was looking…

  • I had always heard that you shouldn't eat less than 1200 calories a day to avoid going into starvation mode. I have been staying around 1500 a day and have lost 48 lbs since last July. Good luck on your weight loss!
  • I have a really nice thrift store that I go to. I can buy jeans and shirts for 1$ each! When I finally reach my goal I am going on a big shopping spree though! I started out a size 18/20 and just now got into size 12.
  • Last night I soaked my chicken breast in milk for 15 min and then crushed cornflakes and put in a bag. I added the chicken and like shake and bake and cooked in the oven at 350 for 40 min. It came out really good. The recipe called for parmesan cheese in the cornflakes but I left that out. I also use different shake and…
