I agree. You are making too many changes all at once. Eliminate 1-2 things at a time and once you are use to that change a few more. I still have some junk food almost everyday but it is portioned and within my allowance.

I use MFP/Elliptical/Other Websites that all seem to be in line with each other. I figure as long as i keep losing what the heck. Your base needed calories (1200, 1500 or whatever it is) is already figuring your BMR. Beside we all gained weight burning those daily calories why would you count them now.

I have dealt with hypothyroidism almost my whole life. I was diagnosed at 11 years old and have struggled with weight since then. I eat everything - processed, soy and everything else. I have been on since Feb 3rd. It says only 55 days but that is due to a vacation weekend on Easter. Been very faithful. I have lost 34 lbs and need to lose maybe 10-15 more but I need to see how my body reacts. I walk almost everyday and sometimes the elliptical. Add me if you want.
